Hey Macca, nice pics above ^ when and why did you change your S Ducts from Blue to Silver. Just received my S Ducts and tempted to paint them silver, rather than AR. See the 9meister thread on the orange speedster the silver Ducts great contrast IMHO.

Steve. I changed from the turbo s ducts without air plumbing and with keeper light only to Techart two piece ducts with fog lights and plumbed brake vents in 2011 and had them painted silver then along with mirrors rear spoiler grill and wheel centres...

Thanks Graeme.

John,Paul,Steve & Pete. Enjoy tonight's AGM. Good excuse for a dress up. Sorry we cant make it. Unfortunately will be dressing down tonight in "Rocky Horror Picture Show" garb as we are heading to a private themed 40th with around 100 others - no doubt a debaucherous evening ahead!

Guilty as charged. I met up with an old friend prior to the PCNZ dinner and had lunch at Kahve. Herman is in good form. Can't get enough of driving him. Unashamedly stuck in the '90s.

Macca, looking again at the detail in your changes to the matchbox design, it is very cool. I reckon that's the most amazing wedding invite I've seen. When I first looked yesterday I didn't notice a few things on the design but looking closer with fresh eyes I'm delighted to see them.

I can totally see the huge emotional connection for both you and Jo for the car.

Looking forward to dropping into CCS to check on her. Let us know when she's up on the lift and being worked on. Also keen to follow your improvements, esp the gearbox work.

John, I've parked the Boxster in the back of he garage (locked in behind 2 cars and are driving Lola as my DD for the w/e and week until Targa Tour. She has so much character. Smell and noise are lovely. Also enjoying your loan secondary muffler. No more baffle rattle, just raw air cooled loud exhaust notes.

Popped in to ChrisM's last night to return his loan AIM. His 997 C4 manual is VERY nice. Great condition with lovely leather interior with sports seats. Jealous of the seats :-)
The 997 leather interior sure is nice.

He's got a fair few 964 bits and bobs that need new homes :-P

Chris' OZ wheels should sell quickly, as will the other bits. Steve told me the door is a non starter for me, so Herman will have to wait to see that fixed in some other fashion. I bought a windscreen off Trademe for $159. Just have to pick it up from Dunedin. If that goes to plan I will have a clear view out. As with the secondary muffler I will continue to pick up 964 bits as they come up for sale. The worm has definitely turned on these cars, if you believe what you read on the 964 forum there will be cars looking for parts not being turned into parts cars.

I've slowed down on fixes, as there's nothing urgent. He needs a realignment to go to the track but that's about it. Main work now is swapping out the struts on King Turbo. A mint version had an offer of $350,000 turned down in the UK. I imagine I'm one of the few in the world spannering on his own car.

Good luck with the Targa. Steve said he has an unused kart and may lend it to the RSG. Looking like we can put something together at the Mount Wellington track for practicing.

BTW A conversation with Simon confirmed that karting is as bad as car racing, at the leading edge e.g. He bought five KT 100 engines (yes, five), then benchmarked them and swapped parts between them until he had the two most powerful ones. He then sold the other three to defray the costs. You have to do that as you can't modify the engine. Read that as being competitive is not going to happen by stumping up $2,500 for a kart on Trademe. I think it's better to have a kart that can do private practice at Mount Wellington and any racing is a bonus.
