I'm taking the Boxster S with R888s fitted. Broke them in at the last day at Puke. Need to get fresh oil and a once over at CCS next week. Insurance cert to sort then I think I'm ready. Main concern is to keep it on the black stuff.

Great stuff! Glad to hear everyone still on track to take part. Absolutely jealous!

Chris, Matt and I - I think. Looks to be ideal conditions. Anyone else?

Herman has his RUF Bilsteins back on but the different strut length to the temp ones means he's limited to the road until Peter gives him a new alignment. I'm coming out to watch though, and to deliver the RSG compressor to Steve or Chris. What time is it starting?

For now cars have been a safe haven during low interest rates and increasing taxes. I think we are seeing a bubble forming in some markets now for early stuff. Definitely would be worth you getting yours over to the UK well before the end of next year to capitalise on things....

Id really love to see that car in the flesh. I know alot of things have been said about it but the few people Ive spoken to who had seen it in the flesh reckon its absolutely rad - a real hotrod looking car especially in darker colours with that brushed steel roll hoop. Love to dee it and decide for myself...take some pics Paul

Will be down there tomorrow if that's the case. Love the look of the older Targa 911's and am very keen to see the modern interpretation.

Saw this in the flesh today on its way to New World. So good to see classics out and about.

Moved 3 cars off the property to get Lola out to run a few errands. PITA but so worth it. Have fitted temporary loan secondary muffler compliments of John and she sounds "primary bypass" normal again. My old muffler had spider cracks in the bottom and when rolled around sounds like a dozen empty cans and nuts are rolling around inside. For those who weren't on the SITT, I "blew" the baffles on one of the tracks and she started sounding a bit odd as a result.

Yup race.
went for a short drive today. Haven't been in the car since Targa NZ last year and with engine out being rebuilt only now ready. Isnt that always the case? Yu tell the guys want to be ready in planty of time for testing etc and its always last minute. Forgotten what its like to drive - feels plenty fast enough but then always feels like that and then you find plenty ppl going faster haha. Someone sent the wrong wheel speed sensor so that has to wait til next week.

Mount tyres on the right wheel combos, and some minor signwriter adjustments for correct livery, then get scrutineer around monday
