Sam: wow. That looks damn sexy.

I take back all the horrible things I've said about 964s!

Thanks macca, finally got the stance and look that befits that body shape too. Can't wait to experience it on the track.

Absolutely agree. Makes me more determined to sort mine out some time soon. What height is it set at?

If you are lucky there will be 3 964s on the way to Cape Reinga.

Turbo comes home tomorrow. New tyres and control arm bushes. No plans to repaint as I don't think I could keep it clean enough in any other colour. Depending on Herman's running status I may take it to Tauranga for the day over the weekend. K gorge will be great in either 964.

might have to join you for a leg of this, but not the whole shakedown, I'll get some proper measurements from ground to chassis at some point too, as this seems to be the only correct way with differing tyre/wheel combos. alignment doesn't have those stats.

[QUOTE="Runtothehills;11104272"] Time for another 'how to' in the air cooled section, Followed your scuttle replacement one over the weekend, took longer than I thought and all I can say is you can't use too much lube to get that job done.[/QUOTE

Steve did say I was a lucky beggar that mine came out easily and went back in the same. Did you get the result you wanted? Please share your experience on that thread. Good or bad it helps others.

The shark fin is beautifully engineered. When properly fitted the trim strip sits perfectly. I'll see if there's already a DIY. I can't be the first to do it.

Possibly four 964s would look the bomb in formation. Need to get Jason out as well. Maybe you guys could travel an hour or two north on the Sunday and travel back with is?

No pressure. Thankfully I'm in the Normal Twilight group so I can't park along side this beauty. Herman had become the wingman.
