Safe travels Macca. I think we have enough options to put pics up on a big screen but bring your laptop just in case. See you and everyone else at 11:30 on Sunday. We should be at least 5 but still have room at the table for late comers. Send a pm if you need an address.

Just got decals as well. Easy to apply, especially after the banner practice. Did my name one first as I need to research number placement.

PS Peter, you'll see the Fuchs are back on as WOF passed without a hitch. Izzy said the Z221s would have been marginal but he would have passed them. That gives me some comfort as I imagine putting numbers on my car is an invitation to being stopped at some stage and I don't want to be cited. Evidently, my mods to date don't require a LVV, which is good news as I'm all but finished, just eventual suspension height reduction.

Nice John, I guess we'll see your number soon but in the mean time really keen to hear what you're planning to do, size, number, colour (red on white?) etc?

Bought two styles. Both black for the door. Seems to be Motorsport NZ compliant. I will go with the forward one. Maybe slightly forward of the door center.

I vote forward one. Looks like it wants to go down the track!

It torture watching everyone having fun while mine is locked in a container down the street. MAF inspection is Friday... 11th looking bad.

I vote you leave room for racing stickers/graphics so centre door mount. Second font is nicer looking IMO. it's going to look wicked.

See your point on the placing. Still not sure about the rear font though. Seems slightly ungainly. Just checking with the classic trial coordinator before I install as the festival of speed meet might force us to use their decal. Not expecting that though as we are self contained as a series.

John. If you get around to doing those carrera decals again you should drop them 80-100mm. I think they may be too high making the side look a bit clutter with teh racing numbers so close. IMHO of course..

Almost the end of the trip....taken a few Kms before it was given back to the supplier for export to NZ. Sad moment!

Overall she survived remarkably well, not a scratch as small stone chip or two, wheels uncurbed and some small grazed under the black front lip spoiler (from potholes, speed humps and underground car park ramps) which cant be seen. Needs a good clean.

Fuel economy for the trip was reasonable - about the same as the 993 which is 20 years older but makes 200 less HP. 74 lire tank (64+10 reserve) so good for about 500km range with some spirited driving.

We also completed 900km in a late model BMW 520d in the first 3-4 days were were in Europe whilst waiting for the GT3. They are a great car having far more mid range ommph than I was expecting and still getting around 900+km to a tank!

Happy New Years guys!
