What colour was the 993 in the tyres???
Much damage???
It always seems a 993 has an "off" on these days. I spun mine into the mud/field in teh wet years ago and the same day a lovely C4S had an armco experience which left a scar on it back. Last year a silver 993 tipo (mint) tapped the armco!

Thanks Guys. That was Nigels car. Damn that is not a charmed car - last time he took it out (same time 2005) the engine blew a piston! Now that was an expensive job....
Wish I had have been there on Sunday. Its always a great day!

Nick - Is your car rego 1PORSH? I have a photo of the morning lineup with you? on the front row.
Some consolation for Nigel, he won the Slalom competition and had been reminiscing about last years bad luck prior to the spin...
George, have just seen your car in at CCS, I boiled my brake fluid after the first run, so real fun stopping on the next 2 runs.
Craig.

I was in the red team, the only 964C4 there, my car is white with 17" Cup2s and teardrops.
It looks as though I did not boil my fluid, it may be the master cylinder...

Is your mastercylinder leaking? Or was it low on fluid? Getting close to replacing the pads?
Found a couple of pics.......shame Andrew is standing in the way!

Pads, rotors, fluid level all fine. It was the master cylinder seals which were faulty, had new seals made up, and now brakes back to Porsche excellence again. The only thing is, now the pedal is closer to me which will take a little while to get used to.
Thanks for the pictures.

Any idea how long the seals had been faulty?
Had your brake pedal always been fairly low in relation to the accelerator?
Wont take you long to get used to the new pedal position, a few days driving and all will feel normal again!

No idea, the brakes had always been "perfect" up until then. Yes, the brake pedal was at the same height as the clutch pedal, now the brake is about 2cm higher.

Another Kiwi here in the Capital
Hi Guys,
I mostly hang out in the 964 turbo forum. I am a newbie Porsche owner & I have recently acquired a '93 911 (965) turbo 3.6.
I have just recently joined PCNZ and am looking forward to attending some events and meeting other owners.
Clint.
