There is an Uncles day coming up if anyone is interested in taking the avo off work:
Uncles....
Time for some mid winter relief!! And were not talking about a cheeky cuddle with the missus in-front of the fire when the kids are asleep!!!
Pump the tires back up and check the fluids its Uncle Time and feels like its been a long time between drinks!!
When: Tuesday 6th August - Laps Start @ 2.30pm and will run through to 5.00pm
If track gates are closed Sign in will be at ticket office in main carpark then gates will open @ 3.00pm
What to Bring: $65 Per Driver - Cash or Cheque Sorry No Eftpos/Credit Facilities Available
Helmets are Compulsory - Motorbike / Motor Cross are OK
Where: Hampton Downs Motor Sport Park - Hampton Downs Road Off SH 1 Waikato Expressway - Centre Track
*** All Vehicles and All Driving Skills Welcome ***

John. Hes got you set up on track settings. 02 degrees camber front and rear. I'm guessing he saw the tyres and realized that was how the car was to be used...

Yellow and white? Wow. I had only though there were a couple of red ones.
Ok 8 is way more than I had thought there would be. That's a pretty decent effort for NZ. How many are left? A few have gone overseas in the past 3 or so years haven't they?
EDIT- that doesn't include mine does it? Somehow the first owner, I think it was Graeme Cameron who did it, managed to get it registered as an RS when he imported it.

x2 red - 1 exBill Fulfords road car - Whittakers - did it sell?
x2 white, I think both have been raced or Targaed

x1 Sliver - exGermany race/Targa car
x1 Yellow - now exported
x1 Purple - exGermany, was LHD now RHD
x1 White - exSing, maybe the Dong car?
I believe that one white car might have been exported as well?

No, Im not including yours as it doesnt have an RS VIN

There are NO unmolested/no history 964RS in NZ!
The Whittaker one is about as close as it gets.
The four imports were used as Bridgestone cars. Two have now gone I believe.

I was thinking the Fulford car? He told me he hadnt raced it when he owned it. Thats not to say other owners havent?

Just rummaging through my old Porsche photos I found a 1992 Concourse with Bill Fillford's car and the 2nd red RS (yet to be sold to Andrew Whittaker)
I also have a photo of Ollies (then brand new) RS, with the photos trying to hide where is kissed the wall at the Wellington Street race in 1991.
That was a cool road trip with the old man traveling down to Wellington and Dad telling me to keep it at a constant 90mph in his SC. Couldn't do that now days............
