They very rarely seem to hit the open market to be honest mate. Most change hands behind the scenes. Best to chat to Peter and Steve.

Mine only sat on the market for so long because it was a mutt, 2010 and no real track days going on- lol.

I'll keep an ear out though.

David Taylor at Motorsport Services can hook you up with one pretty quickly if you want one at the end of the race season...

Dave Taylor is the man for GT3 Cup cars, our own Yoda will know more about the movements of 964 race cars than anyone.

Have a look at the following link for fastest lap times in the Porsche Club race series for all the north island circuits in the 2011/2012 race season http://www.porsche.org.nz/PorscheClu...25792D0006AA98. This also breaks it down in to the different classes in the series.

I should have added, all times are on dot rated tyres, mostly Hankook 221's, no slicks.

You're right- my bad!

Chris, are you still thinking about buying a Solo? I found this site is doing them for US$399 + shipping, including the suction cup mount. Not sure whether that makes it worth the hassle of buying off-shore or not.

Change of plans, I'm now in Beijing 2 - 8 September. Are you around Beijing then?

Looks like a great deal, free shipping as well. I will probably support Dave and pay a little bit more and get it here though. Dave does a lot for Porsche racing in NZ, so happy to support his business.

Under the "Lap Manager" tab, select the laps you want to exclude, right click and select "disable". You can sort the columns up top; I disabled everything but "GPS Lap Time". In your case you'll also need to enable/disable the laps for each person's run and check the "Split report" to get their optimal lap.

Been swapping a Sports seat from the Turbo 3.6 to the C4 so didn't see this until now. I'll try that tomorrow.

USD 399 works out to NZD 646 if you exchange at 0.75 (paypal) pay GST and clearance fee. The local price is $642 all up.

Given the true cost of a Trackday, I think these units are well worth the price for the insights they give. I'm very happy so far and will be even more so when I start to drop the seconds I can see on the graphs.

John, good point, I forgot about the clearance fee. Even more reason to go with Dave.
