Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

All you need is this. Stiffens up the chassis, gives you a rear heated screen. Then add three way front strut brace from Rennline and you have a Cab thats stiffer with a permanent roof with a headline and a look that is unique and has a nice "hot rod" feel to it and aesthetic profile...
Sorry most of my achieve file is 993 as you can imagine. However an official Porsche hardtop option was available for G series cars and a french company was still making these a few years back. I dont think the look is too bad and as the Storeck example shows with some clever enhancements could look quite bespoke.
So lets say 33.5K (negotiated) for the 110k km dark grey 964 C4 with MT and cup replica wheels plus 7K for the top and 1K for the brace and you have everything you need down to the last few 10th on the track....
40K C4 coupe/cabriolet?

At last...the one i've been waiting for
"All three hypercars at the wonderful Portimao circuit. Each of them from the respective factories. Lap times, sliding around, smiling and then a track-battle with the legends Tiff Needell and Marino Franchitti. The very best of days."

Look at the picture of the dark coloured 964 with three piece speedline copies above. Looks pretty good to me?
If your budget is limited you just have to be creative. This is far cheaper than taking a 35-40K tipo and spending 25-30K on a manual conversion (not to mention headache and heartache). Plus you still have a cabriolet for summer and a car thats original and increasing in value (at least in other markets)...

That removable hard top is a pricey sucker! I was thinking more along the lines of a more permanent solution.. Cage in, then "glue" this on

Thanks John. This is a really weird thing in my eyes. By "double bubbling" the roof shell they seem to have made the roof profile higher above the door and with no gutter rail it looks a little odd from this angle. I await final conviction upon seeing a side profile shot...

I'm surprised about that as well. Misinformation?

The article states it is approx 1175kg and was in its former life a race/track car so one assumes the interior is space and some of the panels are plastic? Still seems very light given what we know of Seans car and Steves plastic race car which comes in around 1150.
