Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

I suspect the dealer has based his price on UK/AU market and assumed same would hold for NZ. Seems like a common but flawed strategy. Nice car tho if it were 20k cheaper...

Based on the FB intell so far I'd be searching for old Bridgestone series photos.

Why settle for an SC with 160km's, when you can have a kiwi new G50 in red with half the mileage for 'only' a hundie :-)
Yes - Ash's car is the best SC I have seen since I was 10.
I think he sold it for about $42K and yes went to Aussie.
Foresight is a wonderful thing - everyone knew it was a collectors car, but SC's were mid to high 20's then, and people struggled with the price.
5 years ago 993’s were considered the most desirable 911, along with a 3.2 being the last of the classic 911. Now 964’s are king of the wish list and SC's command the same money as 3.2's?? – interesting how fashion changes. The trick is to guess the next one??
I think the problem is people realise there are only so many air cooled little 911's out there and tidy, original ones are not being made anymore. Doesn't matter if it's a SC, 3.2, 964 or 993, we all know they cost $50K to make them 8.5/10 mechanically and cosmetically, so why not save yourself some money and get a good one from the start??
Porsche will always make newer, better and faster cars - but they won't have the size, nimbleness, smile factor and character of air cooled??
Best be buying these instead of rentals or shares now...........

Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
37 years old,160kms.. unless it's got some big receipts it looks like another air cooled Porsche needing some zeros to make mint.
Paul's car was probably better value at 100k than this, yet would the market pay 100k?
There's two 993s out there that are better buying I think
Don't mean to sound negative, air cooled pricing makes me a bit sad.

Plenty of beer bongs filled with Kool Aid going around at the moment. Everyone is on an air cooled sugar high.

Looks nice, tea tray on a narrow body though..

There's two 993s out there that are far better buying imo

The carjam says the car was NZ new. Also says it had 5 seats and a number of other details titally incorrect. Goes to show you cant even trust the government Rego information to give you correct information!
If its not NZ new and its 104K miles not 104k km and its had some dubious history Im downgrading my valuation to 55k and happy to bet a McDonalds lunch it wont sell anywhere near its asking...
as for the money side of this hobby we have I say again who cares. Speculation aside (it will end in tears like property bubble and shares) the one thing ruining this hobby right now is all this focus around $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
who F*ckn cares?????????????????????????????
Agreed Pel but even Pauls not mad enough to pay 100K for an 3.2 (though he did pay top dollar for a top car). The carjam says the car was NZ new.
