Shameless plug....
I'm selling one of my sets of 964/944 Porsche D90 track wheels and thought I'd let any RSG 964 owners on here know - saves your good road tyres on track days plus you can run something stickier.
2 x 16" 6" ET52 - takes 205/55R16 tyres
2 x 16" 8" ET52 - takes 225/55 R16 tyres

Bit of luck they'll fund 1 x new Boxster tyre, LOL.

Thinking of Me Macca??
In your pic you are remarkable straight approaching the concrete wall.
Normally in the Fraser I would be flat and just arriving at the outside of the track at the tyre bundle which protects the concrete wall end. very little protection inside the car but lots of fun .....

RE11 is a UTQG200 tread wear road tyre. They are heavy with fat tread blocks (10mm including bars) and last well because they are a fairly hard compound. They were designed in 2008 so not the latest tech now. I ran a set on the 993 2010-2013. I used them on my very first track day at HD in 2013. They went off very quickly then became quite greasy. I used them for a 5 day Targa Tour in 2012. They were ok on the chip seal but are quite a noisy road tyre because of their weight and sidewall construction. I wouldn't use them personally as a track day tyre. They are not very good for that IMO.

The picture was taken from the first session of the day, purely the image was to show the wall not the line. This was a slow warm in session (you can see best lap time on frame). By end of day was consistently 6-7 seconds quicker was drifting further wide like you describe, picking up rear wheel traction just at the end of that chicane (could feel it tugging).
Here is a reference lap from later in the day. It shows peak speeds on segments around the track. It looks like that point of the track is around 115kmph? Im not sure as I really dont know how to read that screen. Im assuming with the tyre barrier removed Vmas may increase very fractionally (I would be trail braking into the Esses complex) and peak speed may fit in first half of esses complex from 82kmph to 87-90kmph. I dont expect exit point speed 114 to increase by more than 1-2kmph frankly. It would be nice to have some year on year Aim data from some of the race cars but as Pete says many variables change each time on the track...
Not long now mate and you will be at Targa!

Id elaborate and say:
PS2/PSS (220/300 UTQG) for road with itty bitty track (beginner/intermediate or someone taking it easy and occasionally a few times a year at most on track). Alternatively acceptable for a long tour with some tracks like SITT as one tyre solution.
MPSC2 (180 UTQG) for road and track equally (intermediate/fast or regular track work 5+ track days a year). Good tyre for road and track and works well for touring and track work (i.e. SITT) although life span will not be as great as above on road...
