Real value is under $70k ? How do you price that?
I saw it at Conti's - original for sure.

What was he asking before? $75k?
Think I remember it for sale in 2002 for 60k at a Porsche dealership (Giltraps?). Certainly remember the ad in the paper.

Not yet undertaken the deep investigation but leak appears to be near the filter screen hole so could be a seal or more seriously a rust hole.
Look at POR15 Fuel tank repair.

I've used this product on tractor fuel tanks that were more rust than metal and, properly used, it's a fixed that's still functioning perfectly 15+ years later.

Thanks for that, I'll remove it this weekend and have a good look at what the problem is. If not too bad I'll give that stuff a go.

Default Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Notice to BB co-owners. This Sunday at 8:30am after a nervous run down the motorway with no WOF or Rego, we are going to dismantle BB at Chris M's place. Bring some tools and share in the fun. The goal is to extract some value for the parts reusable on the RSG race cars and sell the rest to pay out the non Race members. We may even take some good bye pork pie esque photos when she had no doors, bonnet, wings etc. on the more serious side we will fit the new braided brake lines to the Grinch.

OK. Can I bring the SC so the A team (ably lead by engine drop John) can pull the tank? Or is this a non precision hammer and pry bar event?

Spanner and socket job for the most part. When are you pulling the tank?

I was thinking to do the same and replacing my front pads. Can also lend a hand with the dismantling of BB.
