Ill blame David. He started it. I think that's why its a fake. Its a Mau watch not a Mao watch. You have to keep an eye out for these subtle bait and switch tactics when purchasing a fine time piece....

At risk of covering old ground I've been looking to qualify for insurance thru Prestigio. The have told me I need Lvl 1&2 BMW try or a full day with downforce. The won't accept going out on the 28th with Ray or someone else in order to qualify and insist on a full cse. Problem is there don't appear to be any more downforce days thru continentals (except those at Taupo fully booked) and the next ones are next summer. The BMW way is an option but it appears the request are both cses now and I kinda want to learn to drive my car better not a BMer.
Are there any others out there with this problem or any thoughts on a solution or advice?

I'm pretty sure you can either tag along to a bmw day in your own car and get passed that way, otherwise give Mike Eady a call and book a 1/2 day in with him directly (less than $500 too)... I already have prestigious cover, but am doing a 1/2 day at HD tomorrow with Mike in the CR to refresh and get more training. 2 birds with one stone... Tuition and qualifies you for track cover.

I enjoyed it from Auckland. I am not 100% sure if my head gasket is blown or not so I didn't go. However I know it was very wet and the Peugeot's did very well in the first race. Ray Williams won the reverse grid for fast guys. Looks like Michelins are the wet weather tyre of choice and the Dunlops for the dry.

Didn't realise there was a PCNZ run tomorrow (should really pay attention to my inbox...). Would be keen to get the Turbo out, haven't done so in a while.
