The car may be ready but how long is the interior going to take you Dave? Can't wait to have the Orange T on the road and in the group. Maybe throw in some old seats from Steve to start with aye?

No updates for a while. I am off to Europe for all of July on a family holiday so prior to this plan to visit Steve and push things along a little so that maybe when I am back it could be hard into the interior work. Last update was that car was going to be running end of May so I will catch up on that progress while down there.

That's the plan. I won't be a very happy boy if the T isn't at least road and track ready by then. The SC is a back up but that needs a lot of time, effort and money spent on it if I want to take the weekend seriously. It will not do to just turn up and tootle around at the back. Plus, I don't want to lavish too much on the SC if it is a short holding. It's well sorted enough for what it is but certainly not up to sustained track beatings.

First goal is to get a running and driving car. The interior will take longer than I think no doubt but at least if it is driveable this will speed up the work anyway because I can get it home and work on the little things. I would be OK with a basic race seat in place for the NITT and not much else as long as it can be legally driven and is sorted.
Starting to get a little itchy. Lots of money hanging out there and not being able to drive it is not much fun.

Thanks for letting me try your Dragon's Breath John. Previously when I cleaned Lola's wheels there was black sooty stuff left behind. That's gone and I didn't even have to do any wiping. I massaged it in a bit with a dish washing brush and hosed it off. Effortless. Didn't get a before shot but grubby brake dust.

Generous jesture thanks John. The RS60 wheels weren't so easy. Still a heap of tar from Targa. Oh for smooth 5 spoke wheels.

Agree. Spyder wheels aren't much easier. I actually removed my wheels from the car to do it. I need a hoist....

Yes, mainly for the kids benefit but enough Porsche and other car content to keep me happy. Sight downside - we have a 9 seater van for the bahnstorming work
