When is the Orange T scheduled to be finished and ready for the interior?

+1 - I have their Tech-1 ZX gloves that I picked up used some years back - just brilliant. They're wearing out now but oddly the newer ZXes don't look to have as much silicone grip in the palms, and I really want that for the shiny leather wheel of the 996T.

Also strongly recommend any new suit purchasers to consider black/dark colors as the accent color - not the main color.
Good point Chris. Your olive drab with charcoal (or black?) accents suit is one of the best lookers out there (custom colours?) but I suppose it must get hotter in direct sunlight. I ended up running with this:

In a perfect world I'd rather have a light front plus dark rear on it, so sitting on bits of track rubber etc wouldn't show too much - but its likely good to see contamination anyway - especially if it's flammable stuff. Apparently some lighter colours of nomex do go a bit purply brown over time but hopefully mine won't.

Assuming that the weather holds up I could be keen to get out there. Any destination in mind?

It's only a few days ago that an email from HD said the track was used for 340+ days a year, so yes, here's hoping it stays that welcoming and affordable.

Congrats on getting your paws on your R soon. Tempted by your Sunday run as new rears go on the 996T tomorrow morning. Last two sets started falling apart prematurely (oops ) so these ones have been shaved down a bit to reduce squirm and carcase temps in the hopes of just wearing these out normally over a better distance. Might have to put in a day at home though depending on how long I spend spannering with John tomorrow afternoon. About when and for how long were you thinking to go out?

I'm easy, I just want to go for a drive in it, anything upto a couple of hours, as early as you like. Nothing with loose chip as it's just had all the stone chips re sprayed and doesn't have any protection film yet...

If you want to PM me your mobiles I'll txt you tomorrow arvo and confirm who's in and where etc...

PM sent. No need to go at warp speed and risk people and cars. We don't usually travel on gravel roads or too close to each other. Even early in the morning there are cyclists, runners etc on the roads. Let's see what the weather is up to and plan from there.

Totally! I don't mind it getting dirty... Just want to avoid stone chips if possible, but I'm going rain or shine!
