No refrigeration. if that's what you mean. too much bulk. the touring car guys have spare room on the passenger side but on Targa got the co driver.

If I were starting from scratch I might go for a racetech vented seat back and just use external piped air onto the seat back attachment

I'm picking it's a good Sparco?

FWIW to anyone looking at their options, something like my old combination of Nomex long johns (for anything serious) and 1 layer Chicane Clubman treated cotton was still quite doable for shorter stints in the car- ie for driver's education (but think I went mufti), Uncles sessions, and even up to playdays, track tours and PCNZ dual sprints. But not something you'd want to go seconds on after doing a few 33 minute races each preceded by about 25 minutes of queueing under the scorching Taupo sun. And a good suit is still a nice to have for shorter runs too, as well as being a bit safer.
yea Sparco for me but I think the latest models will be very similar for technical performance

Actually the other thing is I do have a roof vent to bring air direct into the cabin and that helps once the car is up to speed. It has dual internal ducts one for driver and one for codriver. carbon fibre bought from demontweeks uk

I think it’d be quite interesting comparing it with your car with the suspension done, chip and exhaust. Rob thinks they’d end up similar if I did that too with a LWFW in my car but I’m still in awe of the RS.
What did you think Leong? That’s a smiling photo of you getting out of it.
Hi Luke,

It's been a while since I've been in a sports car at the track so needless to say I was very impressed with it the first time I went for a ride at Teretonga. There was just no body roll and so much grip around the sweeper at the end of the straight. Then you could see that the car moved with every little movement of the steering wheel, so responsive. It pretty much went where he pointed it. No doubt that's how it should be, but isn't what I'm used to at the moment. Braking so deep as well with minimal body movement on the suspension and you could feel the lightness of the car. Power? sure could handle a bit more. We were following Joe at Highlands and easily keeping up thru the corners, far more comfortable thru the corners actually, but he was pulling away out of corners and down the straight all the time till we lost sight of him. I guess even the current GT3RS is slightly down on power compared to the GTR. An I loved the bucket seats - especially around those sweepers.

Here’s a couple of pics I got of you at Timaru.

Herman has his track wheels back on for the first time since that fateful day on the 3rd of August when Lola hit some walls at HD. Bring on the 28th and both cars back out there.
