No Paul, they're from a Facebook page of an ex Vanuatu friend.

Default 1976 911

Saw this lovely 1976 911 Lux in Avondale earlier in the week but couldn't post with my phone. It's quite tidy. The masking for the repaint could have been better in some spots but a nice little car all the same. Great to see it being used too.

How did the Hampton track day assault go today? A bit slick late in the afternoon I presume, but hopefully the walls didn't bite.

Thought the Roycroft Festival was on at HD this weekend - no track day?

I saw a few 911's heading north on the southern motorway today. A peal coloured 993, a sliver 997 with 911997 plate and another 993 with the plate something like SO911?
Anyone here?

I think this is Macca's mate who is/was based in the US.

I saw this car new at CCS about 2 weeks ago.

Must have decided they didn't like it??

any more pics from the Porsche club run? looks like quite a good turnout.

We managed to get out to Te Uku Store for a raglan roast before Pam hit yesterday. Actually Pam for Hamilton = a bit of rain and some light wind, so not too bad.

The owner of the '911 Toy' plate owns a few Pcars including the yellow 991 pic'ed above and a white GT3 for track day duties.

Peter Stewart had his SLR Camera there but I don't think that there were many photos taken of the run itself. John H, Chris, Doug and I ran with the lead group.

Ron led (RSG road train). No time even for Doug to do his trade mark camera out the sunroof trick as we ran at a fair pace. Herman played up at idle the day before so I took the R. Doug said Lola kept him busy keeping up and I can imagine why. Even the PDK on sports mode couldn't always keep up with the selection I wanted. Might have to use the paddles/switches. Particularly when coming into a corner where I want faster down changes to ready for the power out phase. Either that or leave it in manic sports plus mode.

Had I been in Herman I may not have enjoyed it as much as no choice but to run at that speed. Maybe more aircooled runs to keep it fun.
