It must be something to do with the overhang on those cars. The 964s never hit and neither does the R

I'm going the opposite direction; putting an aero style replica on from eBay, and keeping one spare for the inevitable sell at some point.
The 996 Turbo lip seems to be one of the worst for catching, nearly every one I've seen that gets driven looks battered to death!
A few of our cars should look new again very soon...

Neat story from my mate Seb from Adelaide. This was from when he picked up his GT3 four months ago. He was in Auckland last month so I picked him up in my GT3 and we went cruising, visited Deano @ CCS (he saw his first real 959), had coffee @ St Heliers and then I dropped him to the airport. Top Dude, has a G63AMG and a 991 GT3RS on order. Total petrol head...

Hey guys, for those in Switzerland interested in a GT4 surrogate have a look below. Saw it at the P Dealer close to me today, looks as new from the outside. PDK and a nice colour and half the price of any other car doing 1'12'4 on Hockenheim ;-)) indecision

btw: I read somewhere that according to P only 1198 of these were made, that' even less than the spyder.

Probably too early to tell John on all counts. The facelift 981 with turbo 2.0 will likely be as quick in a straight line as the GT4 when it breaks ground in 2014 partially aided by PDK. It won't handle as well or be as quick on track however. The game moves on. The GT4 may end us an abnormally. The lack of PDK suggests they were not willing for it to contend the 991S on Ring times. It's almost a shame it doesn't have the PDK-S from the GT3 though with the 7 low stacked gears but then it would be faster than the 991 GTS just launched and imagine the commotion. I think it's all about packaging and positioning....
