I'd ideally love a set of this style oz wheel but that will have to come further down the track

There are some 18" Oz wheels floating around the RSG group, but beggared if I can remember who bought them.
Hello Kiwi Rennlisters.. after 1500+ pages thread creap is inevitable.
Back to original thread, if anyone remembers, i'm a Kiwi rennlister who loves the Nürburgring and lives in Germany.
BoxsterS in Auckland, GT3RS here in Germany and after it's bespoke Suspension overhaul and requiring a new daily summer driver, 356C Cab.
If any of you Kiwis are in the Munich or Nürburging are, get in touch for a Bier/Beer!

I like the third. I'd go polished wheel wells with painted spokes, although the design around where the spoke meets the rim may not suit it. I really like Champion RS98 wheels on a Cayman.

There is a group of us thinking about a trip to Europe around September 2016, wanting to do some touring. I don't know how much time to be spent in Germany as most are planning to base themselves for a good bit of time in Provence. Others can chime in here. Personally I am keen to try to arrange at least a day at Nurburgring and/or Spa. (one or both). sounds like you are the perfect contact to advise us on options and details for this. Trackday options - with and without own cars, advance booking timeframes required costs etc
Which city are you based? Will you be back in NZ before then? Glad you posted, cheers

Pel, 996 looks great. Bumper lip scrapes are inevitable. My partner loves driving the Turbo and is yet to do any damage to it. Be great to have another whisper drive around to balance all the noisy NA cars!
Highly recommend the eBay route for replacement lips, although yet to see the 996 versions on a car (hopefully Walter will post a photo now that he has his).
I didn't end up pinning my engine after Dean at CCS talked me out of it. Is roughly a 25-30 hr job inc dropping the engine, plus whatever else you get done at the same time.
Look forward to getting it out on a run.

Hey guys, needing some help deciding on track wheels for the Cayman R. Don't get too excited though as these are my only options... Car is black.

Also I can obviously get them repainted at some point so wheel style is more important than colour.
I'll be getting Pirelli tropheo r's on them.
Let me know your opinions.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys. Doug, still have plenty of love for N/A, just can't live with air cooled or GT3 as a regular drive.
Phil, the spoiler rams got stuck just before that photo, I was aware it was a weak point on the car. Have your ones played up before?

There's a Rennlister testing an electric replacement option: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-turb...er-needed.html
