Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Looks like my 997 GT3 rear box is on its way from the UK finally, looking at the factory system last night I can replicate that on the 64 by adding a couple of electric exhaust bypass valves to the ends of the headers which are operated by an adjustable rpm switch.
This means that under 3500-4000 rpm it will operate through the 4 resonance chambers and anything over that will go through the straight through pipes.
Looking forward to playing around with this.

I do like rubystone red..........
Paul. Jenni and the girls would love you forever if you came home with that car :-)
Another great drive with Doug this morning. These morning 6.30am sortes are addictive. Had the GT3 as group leader on way back from Russell this morning really in the grove and hooking up in the right stuff with 7km of tight 2/3 gear flip flops. Best fast road drive IVS had in the car since in NZ. Second was a great blast down Woodcocks road a few days ago with Jake in hot per suit. In 2/3rd gear when you wrong it out between 7000-9000rpm the engine just howls and creates goose bumps!
Bring on tommorow and Sunday then next Tuesday at the track!!

Really looking forward to Tuesday and HD.
As a good service was due , took GT 3 to Ccs and the slight change in sound from left side exhaust proved to be the second failure of the factory welds. This time between the header and the cat. Does anyone know if this, the second repair, on a different part of the same factory exhaust system is covered by the porsche warrantee? The guys at Ccs seemed to be suggesting it has to do with the track days I do , but that is what was intended by the manufacturer wasn't it?
See most of you on Teusday.

tested the Sony action cam attached to the Fraser roll hoop last week to make sure it worked ok before heading out to Sweden and Ice Driving end of next week via Shanghai.
The Cam worked fine - a couple of observations. 1) the cage attachment is not infinitely adjustable directionally, should have a knuckle type rotation so it is a bit limiting. 2) there is occasional vibration as the bit that holds onto the cage bar is not a firm clamp rather it is more of a flexible belt that tightens around the bar.
3) a good thing is the little screen remote to turn the cam on/off, you wear it like a big watch and can see the screen shot.
they didn't have the cage bracket in the store when I bought it so it had to be ordered in and got it unseen.
Can't post the footage unfortunately on public forum.

This seems very underpriced?
NZ new and low K's with the G50 box
Cabrio's are worth less than coupes but when they get this low you'd have to start thinking about one.

Macca - looks like you were on the money in all respects except the "+" that you'd hoped for in relation to hp. No price but a lot of speculation that it will be circa GBP85k - which I reckon would make it a real stretch.
From a German site... (via PH)
The Cayman GT4 is now configurable on the Porsche site, by the dealers, all without pictures, only option lists and prices, all the different options are listed, but what was missing is the cars BASIC PRICE. At the moment the car is only available as a "Manual"/3.8 ltr and 380 PS, sports seats plus and 20 inch GT4 wheels, but no tyre sizes...
Separately on tyres, it looks like 265/295 F/R, up 30mm from standard 20"
