Wifi is patchy down here in the sticks. Shotover jet, 4WDriving, Ziplining, bungy, porsche budget well and truly busted open and pillaged. Hold all works until further notice.

yea never ending isn't it. I have to finish off the little things that were not completed or too rushed leading up to NITT. I really enjoyed the dry weather at Manfield - probably because we were expecting wet.

Got to get moving on Targa now. test the steering rack, install engine, gearbox, shocks, reset 200kph speed cut (seemed to be cutting in too early last event), finish admin - order livery, functions, tyres, fuel (e85). Still a lot to do.

Yes, it's a standard six spline lug. I borrowed a socket from Hyperdrive so all good there.

A big Honda day. We just purchased Integra # 3. That gives us two B18C engined race cars and BB as the leaderboard car.

Both race cars will have half cages and a competitive set up. Roll on 18/10

John, that's great news and quick movement. If we ever mount an RSG challenge at Le Mans, you get my vote for team manager.

Default Grease and power steering oil all over my hands :)

Three things accomplished:

Picked up bits and pieces to start the brake calliper paint job.

Power steering rack removed from the car. What a b1tch of a job that was. I will get Steve or CCS to reinstall it once refurbed as reinstallation will be pretty tricky.

Sat with Jeremy who was up from Wellington. He is an illustrator for Weta and we played with a picture of Lola to try out some graphics and colour ideas I've had playing on my mind.

Now to try and upload some images from today via the RL website on my ipad

And the wheel colour / graphics I think we'll work towards (although I LOVE the orange colour scheme, changing the overall colour is too much of a PITA job) and I don't want to be confused with Dave's hot rod.

At last I have started a thread to record the rebuild of Lola and have been back filling from the start. If you're interested in following progress, please feel free to subscribe to this thread.

I've got another hour or two of posting updates to get it up to today.
