Harder pads that provide less braking and last longer seems to be the ideal. Not sure what that means in terms of options.

Like the tyres not sure where we can go with pads as I don't know enough about the options.

Buy this, let RSG give it a bit of a flogging and then sell it to you for what it would then be worth, $2k https://touch.trademe.co.nz/motors/listing/view/762806224

I get 276 NZD with cheapest shipping option for 2 sets of pads.
Have you check with AMAZON or with one of the others who sell via amazon?
I can order, delivery estimate would be 1. October.

Mine was through Amazon. Looks like you are better at this than me. At $138 a set I think we just go for it. Get 2 sets. That will see us through 44 sessions if we include the current sets life left.

I'd say stay with current tyres. Cheap and maintains BB setup. Amazon pads look like a good deal.

Hey Macca what are you doing posting about Porsches in a Honda Thread? Evo has always been the best, more focused than top gear, and there are some serious Porsche fans amongst them. For those that haven't tried it yet, it is one of the few publishers that has done well on the iPad with an app that has good navigation and incorporates video and photography well.

911DAYS is the Japanese title worth a look (and not a read) i'll bring to Phils for a gander. Try Amazon.co.jp for a shopping experience!

They get sent to NZ and I pick them up and slowly work my way through them with my other subs once I return home. Subsequently Im usually 2-3 months behind the current issue. Anyway, just picked issue 197 up, tore off the plastic (still enjoy that bit) and read an article by Dickie Meaden. John, thought you may sympathise with this one in part. Ive had that T shirt (993RS) so I do. You aren't alone.

P.S. Seeing scrappy Tipo 993s with 128Ks in last months 911 & Porsche World (July edition) for 35,000 GBP reminds me it might all happen over again (.....but not in a hurry as its NZ LOL!).

Enjoy...
I can relate to that, but I still had both cars out on Sunday morning. Offered Doug a drive in the Turbo 3.6 but he was uncomfortable to take it up, maybe in part driven by the supposed market value. Personally I was enjoying watching Herman run so it was double fun for me. I will continue to drive all three cars when I feel like it. The Turbo 3.6 is insured for a reasonable but not stupid sum. If it was written off I'd struggle to replace it but it is still just a car.
