Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Correct. Herman is finished as is, awaiting Lola's return.

Thanks for doing that. I suspect one of my engine mounts is shagged. I'll fit my new ones when I can get into my garage, then tackle the spoiler issue. I can't sell it with the spoiler alert so I suspect it will be with me for another year. First world problems

Jesse Ball has sold his 996TT. Baby getting close to arrival and needed cash to buy some land and a business. So we may not see him for a few years until he comes out the other side.

Doug, the carpet and space saver are staying in until Lola is back out there. Feels very strange putting weight back in Herman, unnatural even. Any help needed just sing out.

BB Update time:
Ralf bought new front rotors ($91.89) and a new set of front EBC Yellow Pads (198.54), then went out to HD to give them to Jono (previous owner) to fit for the princely sum of $60.
It turns out that in our excitement to post blistering lap times we omitted to look at the front pads. They were smoking after my shortened run because the front pad material was completely gone.....
Use of a few big tools and some swearing (Jono is a master at that) got the job done and BB is ready for the 16th. Thanks Ralf for organising that. I understand that Ralf, Matt G, Neil and perhaps Chris B will line up to set some times. That's a full dance card.
Meanwhile Walter is looking at putting BB out there on the 23rd. I think he's looking for some partners in crime.
Financially, we have taken in $3,000 and spent $3,037.43. It looks like pads are going to be our biggest expendables unless you lot take it easy, but where's the fun in that?
Right now I don't see the need to change anything in our operation except for drivers to take ownership of the car fluid and pads position. I will look at a checklist for that.
I look forward to seeing three more BB times on the leaderboard. That will leave Jason and Tony yet to tame Black Beauty.

Thanks Phil. With those two data points I think it's fair to say I have a possible engine mount failure on one side. Lucky they are very reasonably priced.
The object in the picture is the backing plate for the brake pads. At the end we were running metal on metal!

Thanks for that John. While I had expected to empty the boot of all that heavy stuff at the sprints, due to it being wet and not ideal for setting times I left it all in.

Nice blog article and pictures of Clint Davis' photo shoot of Dario Franchitti and his old 911 hot rod. Man that car is nice.

BTW Dave, I saw a nice orange 1980 911 (well the plate said 80 911) yesterday late afternoon parked on the waterfront in Kohi. Should have taken a photo. Do you know it? Reminded me of your project.
