My 2016 is at the dealer now.

I love the " . . . full tank of fuel, up to $50" S'ok. I also love the detail part. I made sure to let the truck stay dirty for the past few weeks to take full advantage.

I'm also glad I waited till now to get the fix. My SA-who is great, said about 10 had come in all at once, all anxious about getting it done and getting their money, only to have to wait for the bits and pieces to arrive. Sometimes the only time it is good being first is at a gangbang, otherwise, it is sometimes better to wait.

They are also going to look at the leak, again. A couple of days for the flash and to check out the leak. No problem, a 2018 Macan with 112 miles as a loaner is fine with me.

Contact me directly if anyone is interested.

Perimeter Porsche in Atlanta is showing 6 available in their monthly e-zine. But the one 2016 I looked at just to see what they are offering was only 995 off of sticker

Update -- Car has been returned to the dealer FIVE times now... They brought in a field tech who supposedly "drove it several times" and couldn't reproduce the issue.

I'm calling BS... and I will keep bringing it back to the dealer. There's ZERO possible way the vehicle is supposed to have a clatter/shake/and stutter while feathering the throttle in rush hour traffic.

The diesel-fix documentation CLEARLY states that it will not impact the driving characteristics of the car. This clearly is a driving characteristic, if the whole thing shakes for a moment every 7th/8th time you feather the throttle between 15-25mph in rush hour.

You need to drive your car with the tech on board. My car does this during warm up only. Once warm it is fine.

FWIW I got $5K off when I bought my CD new in Dec 2014 before the debacle was revealed.

I did. On my 2nd visit... the tech experienced it. Also, it doesn't matter if the car is cold or completely warmed up. It still clatter / stumble / hesitates every 7th/8th time you need to feather the throttle in rush hour traffic.

Put it this way... I'm already clearing time in my schedule on Friday now, to return the car to them for a SIXTH time.

It even has the $65 cupholder insert-at no extra charge.

The Macan has deep cupholders so I don't need the insert.

If I have but one regret, the keyless entry and drive is nice and I miss it.

Stupid $65 cupholder lol.

My car didn't come with one. The last several loaners I've had, have had the cupholder - including the loaner last week when my CD was in for the fix.

I broke down and bought the stupid cupholder. F it, it's only money right? It's much nicer, I'll admit. $65 ($70 all in after tax) is a rip but the dealer had it in stock, it was there, it was easy... *sigh*

And mine also has E&D. I love it. It's now a requirement for my next CD. I keep thinking, and looking... PNH has a couple interesting examples, and I love the color combo he posted above. One of my local dealers (Exchange I mentioned previously) just released their list of punched service-loaners... mostly 2015s... and they've got a few interesting ones too, all priced better IMO. My gears are turning though I'm just not sure I can push myself over the hump.

The cheaper Panamera cupholder works better, especially if you are annoyed by the plastic creaking created when putting a bottle of water in the cupholder. The Panamera unit pushes the tabs in vs the Cayenne one that allows the plastic tabs to protrude.

Do it and don't look back.

I also bought the cupholder, I needed it for my morning mug of coffee and the big S/S water bottles the wife likes to use.

I had E&D in my Touareg and miss it but have gotten used to it, until the Macan loaner that has it.

Get the 958.2 before they are gone. Regret is going to be tough once these new/low mile ones are gone.
