You had 2 vehicles, right? So I'm guessing you got $1500 each... not $1500 each before and after the fix. I'm looking forward to seeing the stub!

No word regarding a a full tank of diesel(she isnt aware of it)!!!
I work at a dealer, there is no special tool required to do the repairs. We've done plenty without any special tool use at all. The only issue people are having during this repair are removing the nuts on the exhaust. Those in the northern states with road salt are having the biggest issues. The stud breaks, have to hammer the stud(s) out and then the EGT sensors just above that flange takes a hit from the impact and shorts out. That EGT sensor is now on backorder so dealers are taking extra precaution not to blow those sensors. We haven't had any issues with broken studs here in CO but we also torch the nuts before removal just in case. Porsche is releasing a special press tool to press out the broken studs if that's what they're referring to. A little penetrating fluid and heat with some patience can add up with these repairs. Sounds like your dealer is just trying to be extra cautious.

I am wrong and you are right. Sorry about that. $750 times two payments. Guess I am getting old and confused!

Anyone received Bosch payment for those who registered on VW claim site after 10/20?

I am assuming there is no need to register for Bosch payment on bosch settlement site and Bosch will be triggered by VW approval & payment. Is it still true?

Thanks a lot!

Don't worry. If it was true, we would be rushing to call the class attorneys for the missing $$$.

Did they do anything cool with the new ECU upgrade, in particular is there any chance you can display boost pressure on the dash like you can with the GTS and Turbo?

Just got the vehicle back with $50 of diesel put in and not “ a full tank of gas “ as was told several times before the fix. Ok, yeh, it’s not about the $ but I mean why couldn’t Porsche and or the dealer say your getting 50 bucks worth instead of a full tank? The free detail, was mint though.

the one dealer I spoke to seems to be just giving the same number as the settlement off , coincidence?

my oil was being changed @ what I was told was a discount. Upon receiving the bill there was no discount. Ad blue charge as well. No class to be told twice before the service “ full tank of gas “ only to see on the slip “ full tank up to $50 “.

FWIW I have a friend who owns an Audi dealership.

He's got a couple of 2015 Q7 TDI's in stock and has made them available for sale.

The discount is 20%. And from what I gather - that's it... there won't be negotiation *on top of* that 20%.

Quick question, does his Q7 been "punched" into the dealer system, meaning never titled but used as a demo or loaner car, thus having mileage, or totally brand new that would benefit the full six-year warranty and not just the balance for the time the Q7 was punched into the dealer system? Please advise.

Drive safe,

This is what annoys me about the continuing penny saving:

" As a courtesy to you, your preferred authorized Porsche dealership will provide you with a Porsche loaner for the time your Porsche Cayenne Diesel is having the emissions compliant recall work performed, and will then return your Cayenne Diesel to your home or ofce with a complimentary cleaning and a full tank of fuel."

Nowhere it says "up to $50." Also, we were not supposed to have the headaches of going over to the dealer and tell them what to do. They should know and just show up at your home or office with a loaner car all ready.

I know in the whole scheme Porsche has shortchanged us maybe $10-15. But this is supposed to be a gracious effort on their part. It feels now as if they are doing us a favor.
