Diesel Cayenne and VW emission issue

Just called the Claims number. My appointment was last Thursday. As of today, nothing in the email. My status says my appointment was complete on the 11th.
The rep said they were getting more claims than they can handle when they initially said 3 days. The rep said all the paperwork was reviewed and approved as of the 11th, so by COB Friday (the three days).

Did anyone else have the "what if it goes to a buyback" conversation with your VW rep? She was the one who asked me and I was surprised by that.
I could not think of another car to replace the CD at this moment. She also mentioned most of her appointments said the same about their CDs..

I'm the same. If they offered a buyback, I'd take it (buyback is more than I paid for it) - then just buy another one.

regarding the free oil change and Ad-Blue:
Spoke to the settlement people and the they wont offer it until 11/8/2017. She mention that's the date they need to have the fix for our cars.
My dealer confirm it that there isnt any open campaign(except for something with the brakes) regarding a complimentary maintenance.

On a different note, now that some of us have $ in the bank, anyone planning to put $ aside in case Caesar wants its share?
I read some 2.0 forums that say it depends on whether VW sends a 1099 or not. The closest I found is in the Bosch settlement website

So the person has already registered the TDI... Said they were getting $2400 this week? Not sure what that specific payment would be for. (not Bosch)
Are they now entitle to some money if a buyback occurs?
Do I need to call the VW Settlement line and ask any more specific questions?

Pretty sure that's not true. Leases, perhaps, but not financed. If you own it, you get the $1500. Exception, of course, to multiple owner vehicles.
