125k miles sounds like it was a CPO car before the scandal broke.

Non-CPO'd were extended to 6y / 100k if I remember correctly.

I did a moderate speed run back and forth to the airport at 55 to 62 MPH. I'm sad to report a calculated MPG of 35.2. Before the fix I would have gotten closer to 39 MPG. The MPG display was reporting 36.6.

I also noted some jerkiness during warm up. It is as if the torque converter was locking and unlocking in 6 gear. It never really gets cold in FL......

I’ll be honest, I’m going to hold off till Chris and BBi get theirs dyno’d. Call me crazy, but there’s something that’s giving to the update when compared to prior.

Good luck and hand calculate.

unfortunatly my work schedule is not cooperating and i need to bring car in for something else (dealer gets 3rd time to get front alignment cannot seem to align my steering wheel centered after pulling motor for the oil leak)

anyway... may not be able to get on dyno

Default Oil Change during the Fix ?

I'm due for an Oil Change....Just wondering if this is part of the Diesel Fix ?? My dealer usually gets me for a good $500 + for Lube/Oil/Filter, etc...

Oil change is not part of the emission fix. You get a full tank of AdBlue, full fuel tank and a wash. Oil change was to be offered if they couldn't come up with a timely fix.

Oil change and ad blue fill was free if you had a required service between the settlement date and a fix being announced. First free thing I ever got from Porsche. On another note, I have a 2013 CD which I have wanted to trade in to buy a 911 since the day before the scandal broke, putting everything on hold. One Porsche dealer just offered me a super low trade in and justified it by saying we don't know if Porsche is going to make a diesel again and are concerned about parts availability. Needless to say, I'm not buying a car from him.

😂 I am sure same dealer would say the same if you have a NA 911 to trade. I would take the CD to CarMax and check how much they would pay for it, just as a check on how used car dealers view the CD

He'd use the same "Porsche isn't bringing more diesels over" argument to justify a 100% markup to whomever he tried to sell it to as well

Darn, that’s about a 10% decrease. Significant! Oh boy

I'm getting a free detail inside and out that includes a wax job.

Watching the mileage complaints closely.

Caught at least one post over on TDIClub.com mentioning about a 10% mileage impact, too.

Still, even at -10% it's still way better mileage than ANY of the gas motors available in the Cayenne....

That's also more than 10% better than what the car is advertised at getting for highway mileage, so I would think we'd be happy, no? I've never gotten 35mpg in my CD.

Not picking on r553 at all, but that is hardly a scientific experiment, also. I would suggest anecdotal evidence (one way or the other) is going to be only partially useful, what will be more telling is data over longer periods of time. Temperature, humidity, tire pressure, wind, all can impact fuel economy... tough to get a real read from one trip.

If anyone uses Fuelly to track economy, that would be more telling. I used to use it religiously on my diesel pickup, but I gave up once I sold it.

Just got my fix on my 2013, bought it used 2015, filed paperwork, crossing finger original owner didn't file, got first check for full amount, got half from Bosch, high five. Well according to dealer paperwork, I won't receive other monies, because original owner did file??? help, what did I miss? and according to dealer I have 2 free oil changes left?, been doing it myself, did not know that either? Bought it as a non CPO from dealer in Fl with 20k, now has 46k, snatched it up first day advertised.

Most likely original owner bought a maintenance plan for the CD. You should call Porsche to double check. If so, too bad selling dealer did not tell you because maintenance plan is according to time or miles, whichever comes first.

As for the the settlement, how much more do you want? You reported you got the full amount (am I missing something here?). The second half of Bosh settlement is not contingent on the fix and you should be getting it sometime (I got it a month after my first one)
