This is such a silly mentality. My car was built before this one and it's been flawless besides the clutch replacement. I also tracked down every owner and it was built in 2013 then used as a cars and coffee car until last year when i bought it. Remember, these weren't always just collector cars. Much like the 991 people are modding and enjoying the cars just for the thrill. Let's be real, tracking aka HPDE isn't going to hurt a GT3RS any more than poor maintenance and driving habits.
The stars aligned for you on your car purchase. Well that and your, "Get it handled at all costs" mentality, proved to be a winning combination for you. Congrats on that because you killed it!
I do find it strange that SF Porsche isn't posting up any pictures. Maybe they feel like it will deter people from even chiming in about the car. We just have to wait and see.

I'm not 100% sure what they did to the deck lid here... maybe they thought if they had 3 fans it could fly, is that normal for the .1?

Well the Cobalt Blue at Switchcars sold. TO me woo hoo!!!!
Driving it home to CA from OH. Did 6 hours today.
This is the first time I've driven a GT3 and all I can say is WOW! Worth wait! its not the same car as my 997.2 S at all!
I'll post a trip thread separate, but one Cobalt Blue heading to nor cal.....

This is the first time I've driven a GT3 and all I can say is WOW! Worth wait! its not the same car as my 997.2 S at all!

I agree that it's a silly mentality to assume that the car is tired just based on the build information and I could very well be wrong, but looking at the owner that built that car, it was truly a dedicated track car. If you check out his car list, it's pretty impressive but all track cars. He states, "I asked GMG to build me a safe and solid track car and they delivered.".
