A suggestion: decide if you want to sell (or buy!) first, and then entertain (or make) offers

$131k, but only if the tires have nitrogen in them.

Frequent forum guys have so much more into their cars, it’s sometimes hard to see the love and random refreshed parts that add up

read post history on a buyer… you can see every bolt I’ve fixed if you dig deep, we are reasonable and an open book but we usually don’t leave money on the table

I tagged you because your car for sale post got lost in a lot of spam, also just reminding people to buy a car from a known good member is the best way to avoid issues

Ahh, I see. I appreciate that. I've contemplated refreshing my post (cleaned up and better formatting) in this thread, from time to time instead of putting it in the market place where ill get hounded by dealer calls.

The outreach I've received so far has been very courteous and professional, which is definitely the norm for this group. Its a nice change of pace from some of the drama in other parts of Rennlist.

Anyone here selling a .1 GT3 with sub 40k miles? Eyeing the one on BaT but would prefer to buy from a private seller who has some history with the car. There are a couple on Autotrader that fit the budget but have 7-9 owners which is a turn off

I wouldn’t worry about 7-9 owners depending on how many miles someone owned it. For instance sometimes I may buy a car own it for 3 month, or even 3 years and then realize I never drove it. Now on a civic with 50k miles , yes. But not a gt3, usually 3 owners will happen in the first two years alone.

yeah I agree with you I don’t mind too much but I’m thinking when I go to sell it it’ll be a negative

Don't worry about that part as you're never gonna sell it!

I don’t think this is really the case. If you have service records from previous owners, the 7 owner thing isn’t an issue. But I wouldn’t go into it thinking about the next buyer. My car had 7 previous owners, but I had tons of service records. And I knew once the PPI gave me peace of mind, I’m buying it and never getting rid of it.

I recently purchased and I did care about number of owners. I think there are a lot of dealers out there that say that number of owners isn't important to buyers of these cars, but I think there are plenty of buyers who will pay more for a car with 1 or 2 owners. We are talking about cars that people don't want to buy new if they have too many test drive miles!

Sometimes these cars are purchased and go into homes with several sports cars, therefore get used and serviced very little. It's the nature of the game.
