Do you find the turbo **** heavier/more substantial than the stock C2S ****? It sure looks like it but it's tough to tell without feeling it in person.

Most of the rest of your upgrades are on my to do list as well! Sounds like you had a productive morning.

I was hoping it would be heavier but it's about the same weight/height as the stock ****. It does have a more defined "ball shape" on the end and to me it feels better/more comfortable. The Numeric shifter is the star there and I'm perfectly happy with combo even without the additional **** heft.

LED license plate light unit set from Porsche is $80. Got a set of festoon style drop in bulbs for $11.95 from eBay that work great and no error. Also, aluminum trim foot rest pedal from Suncoast. Not happy paying the $175 for this, but blame Porsche for giving us only the gas, brake and clutch pedals in aluminum trim and not the footrest.

I went through a handful of cheap LED license plate bulbs. They worked but for less than a year. I finally got the suncoast kit which I did for the inside.

I'll make a thread in the Nor Cal section sometime soon. Weekends only?

Yes. Weekends far more doable... early morning best too -- gotta avoid the peloton hordes.

i guess I’ll see how long these last. Putting the bulbs (unscrewing the 2 screws and the plopping in the festoons) seem easier to me than having to remove the entire housing even though they don’t last long. If once every year, I can deal with it. If it blows every 3 months, that’s another story.

Going to my first Autocross tomorrow and the class instructor advised to wash the car before the autocross... hope this will suffice.

Got my calipers powder coated! Next up is ceramic coating the car (and calipers). I'll post some before and after pics, the car is currently embarrassingly dirty right now which will make for some great comparison shots.

had a minor mishap - realized I'd overfilled the power steering reservoir. used a suction pump to reduce the level, when the plastic cap attached to the suction pump tube fell into the reservoir / expansion chamber. fortunately I was in the garage and could leave the car to pickup the appropriate tools for extraction. I've owned the car 3 weeks, and the cap had made it partway down the hose to the pump. it was a good test of my nerves. a small gauge wire then an extracting tool saved the day, took about 15 min to fish out..

Put on some Fister mufflers (Titanium Ceramic) to go with my Sharkwerks crossover. Lousy picture but it's not about the visual as much as the aural anyway.
