OK, this way off topic, but since there seems to be interest... 996 TT purists, please forgive me.

A short video I shot about a year ago. We were out playing in the canyons and my 991 TTS starting throwing warning lights (turned out it was misfires from a bad coil pack), so I parked it and rode shotgun in the CGT for the rest of the day... The sound is incredible, though perhaps it sounds even better following vs inside of it!

And while we are off topic and listening to engine sounds, here's a Huracan Evo we got a chance to test drive in this morning...

Sacrilege perhaps, but we were very underwhelmed with the Huracan. My 996 Turbo is *way* more fun on that same road!

I am really impressed by how well the stereo works in the gt, the music was very clear.

Not the stereo... It was mixed in to the video. There was a ton of wind noise that was pretty distracting from the cell phone video and for better or worse, I added some music.

Can't hear the Carrera GT very well because of the music.

Here's a cut without the music, but lots of wind noise...

Love the sound of the Huracan.
For me, It got old pretty quickly. After the Huracan we were in my buddies 458 and my 996 TT, and both sounded far better (just an opinion).

Thanks. Much better for me.

I'm just partial to the sound of the Lamborghini V10.

Instead of wasting your time waiting for fresh OEM turbos, you should have just sent your existing turbos out for a billet rebuild.

That is exactly my plan. Buuuuuut, I will do it next season - I wasn't planning on spending this much this year on it, and now the gearbox is in, I want to drive it as much as possible.

Yeah, I didn't think my Turbo was going to be down for the count this long as well.

So, as it seems, more investigating has been done by my regular shop, and the harness isn't goofed as the one place suggested. Definitely some issues with some wires, but no issue that can't be fixed. Meaning - motor isn't dropping, so I'm good with that.

But, one of my window regulators was having issues and packed it in, the right seat heater pad is toast (pun intended, but apparently out of stock worldwide until July at the earliest). So, just a few more little things to fix.
