The aluminum nubs and rubber bumperettes don't provide any support to the bumper cover. Holes in the (US) bumper that just let them pass through. Euro cars have no nubs or bumperettes. Note that the mod is also 100% reversible,

The holes in the bumper covers and the nubs on the aluminum bumper are 100% an add-on for some particular NHTSA regulation of that era. The nubs come right off, the holes either require a euro bumper cover or an ABS/CF/Whatever trim panel. Note that the mod is also completely reversible,

The car looks so much better how Stutgart intended 👍
Regulations are slowly eroding the car world as we know it, The British government are on about banning the sale of petroleum/gas from 2030🙄 I think it is,
Enjoy life and your car Today 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸

drove the 60+ miles to pick up a new axe. with at least 30 of them at the speeds i've described recently as nauseatingly slow ( 27/30mph average ).

during this time i had no less than one CEL and a "low coolant" light warning. ( ok so i needed a whole cup of distilled to bring it back to "Max". )

all "soft" code nonsense. these cars HATE to be driven SLOWLY lol
