Doesn't help that the parking lot color has a chocolate tone as well.

Like I said in my earlier photo pics... "pictures do not do this 996 justice... it has to be seen.". I, for one, have see it up close and personal and it is simply stunning. Sure there are a few things I would have done differently and would suit my tastes better (i.e., I agree on the wheels, but I dont care for colored wheels on any car... be they black or tobacco metallic. Colored wheels look boy-toyish to me but that's my personal taste.)

This 996 overall, in my opinion, is an amazing restoration.

@Optionman1 perhaps the photo white balance is just a little off. It's too warm or something. . It looks like it was late in the day and the sky is throwing lots of reds off the clouds. Golden hour can do that, and sometimes (mostly) that gives great results.

Sure, the exterior mix of colors may be overwhelming and an all alcantara interior would be difficult to keep clean. But it's cool to see the resto ideas nevertheless.

There is a lid for every pot.

Not everyone is going to like custom crazy colours, but I love mine...

I agree, this car is absolutely stellar looking. I've seen it in person as well. The paint is amazing quality.
Interior is awesome.

They did very well on the build.

I saw that too. Then I saw that it was a Cars n' Coffee type of thing and realized it wasn't relevant.

Per my earlier post.

It was in around 8:30 in the morning and the smoke made for a filter as the sun was rising. This pic really makes it stand out

2004 carrera coupe
Haggerty
#1 Concours condition $49,000 -5.8%
#2 Excellent condition $45,000 +9.8%
#3 Good condition $28,000*+3.7%

Thoughts?

Took some napkin notes..
Jul 2020 vs. Jan 2023
996.1 - $20000 vs. 30000
996.2 - $25000 vs. 35500

down some from peak but not back to 2020 prices..

I don’t think he’s asking but just adding some numbers to the thread.
