Edit: if anything is close to a Le Mans car, it’s the Carrera GT because it more or less contains the engine of a Le Mans race car, except that it never went to Le Mans. And the cockpit is very similar to a 996 of course!

While the mathematical probability of two Vesuvio 1999’s residing in one U.S. state is incalculably low, I am sad to say that is not my car. Mine is Early 1999 Build C2 (Litronics notwithstanding). That one listed on BaT today is a late 1999 C4. But still what are the chances..

AND he’s only 1-hour away from me. I should photograph our two Vesuvio’s together. If that doesn’t destroy the Euclidean universe as we know it.

So here is the trend view from BAT for 996s over the last 2 years (under 100K). I expected to see more of a visible increase in prices. This view seems pretty flat except for this year perhaps there is a bit of an increase visible. Too bad they don't provide the data, else we could create some other views.
