Maybe we can ship him off to the 992 Gt3 forum where he'll learn humility when someone responds with: that's cute, that's how much I spent on cars last year.
I poked my head in that forum. Those guys are absolute clowns.
So here is the trend view from BAT for 996s over the last 2 years (under 100K). I expected to see more of a visible increase in prices. This view seems pretty flat except for this year perhaps there is a bit of an increase visible. Too bad they don't provide the data, else we could create some other views. https://bringatrailer.com/porsche/99...old&bidTo=100k
I think the scale here is part of the reason for this flat looking graph. If you were to run it from 6/2020 to now and use $5,000 increments this would look entirely different and perhaps closer to our perception of the market over the last year.

Unfortunately, the chart doesn't tell us much. It's a shame they don't supply the data points. However, someone with lots of time can get the data by scrolling thru the sales on the website and chart it out by generation and type. Perfect job for one of our genius crypto currency and tech traders that has just made billions. 😁

Totally agree. Plus, it includes outliers since they consistently include random GT2's and Turbos in the auctions when they are supposed to be listed under a different section.
Yeah, I heard from a few people that BaT waits are close to 2 months, give or take.
The Dark Teal car was very nice. There was one on here for sale a few years ago, Dark Teal over Black with the wood accents that looked to die for. Lovely colour in person.
