yeah, I went back to him and said what would it take to fix and then what can we sell it for. The thing that I like about this is that is a 1/98.

that car looks like a plane Jane no frills. Wheels are probably the standard 17. I got the cash I’ll Call my guy to see if he wants to fix and then sell. I’ll put the capital, he puts the work and we can split, he’ll I may even give him 60 percent.

Off topic, but it's interesting that 964's have all but disappeared from BaT. They averaged approx. one listing per week then 5 weeks ago it just stopped. Five 964's sold in a 6 day period between Aug 2 through Aug 7. Then zero listings after that. Statistical anomaly?

Sorry to post here but the 964 forum lacks a 'Prices Drifting Up' thread (guess they don't need it).

Probably just an anomaly. End of summer. Also interesting is the Porsche inventory on my local craigslist and marketplace has been next to nothing this summer compared to previous years.

Prices in the UK have been steadily increasing for the past couple of years.

Nationwide, Cargurus has a total of two ‘99 coupes available. Just another example.

I kind of perceive 911 generations selling in “waves” based on their depreciation/ appreciation curve.

The $70K - $100K “wave” already broke for 964, next one won’t arrive for a while.

The $30K - $50K wave for standard 996 is crashing ashore right now. C4S, & 1999 almost finished, then Coupes, and finally all the Tips & Cabs rushing through just behind.

Next $50K - $70K 996 wave won’t be for a long while. This thread will go dark soon.

And IMO if bore scoring can be contained 997.2 will be the next tsunami (but Jake’s jury is still out deliberating on that one

I am not seeing price increases on 996s up here in Canada. On Kijiji.ca, cas are still going for mid $20 000 cdn with some even in the high teens.

That is $15 000 average or less in USD. Deals to be had up here for you southerners.

I see the Euro ads are pretty similar. I shopped some on Kijiji but not enough apparently. definitely some good cars for good money

$24.5k with ~67000 miles
