Tons of dealers now on BaT especially after 993 and 964 they pay more than everyone they know they can sell them
That white Turbo will sell
And Udrive will sell it again in 2023 for $150K

Been to NYC thousands of times in the 90's, had a 944. The city was a great little race track. Traffic was mild if you knew the right routes where green lights came on in waves to keep traffic flowing. No speeding tickets, no radar, people appreciated aggressive driving and pedestrians knew to cross at the green not in between. At the right times the FDR and Henry Hudson were clear and you'd be amazed how quickly you could get uptown and downtown. Parking lot attendants would get your car and leave it idling with the heat or AC on so you could hop in and zip away. Best city in the world, or at least it was.

Driving into NYC often during the height of covid 2020 offered amazing, once in a lifetime, experiences that I have some videos of for posterity. Had the entire center Lincoln Tunnel tube to myself at noon on a weekday. Took it to triple digits. Driving through Times Square with no other cars or pedestrians, almost Twilight Zone worthy. Surprising how many 911 you see in Manhattan during visits..

Putt putt I have done this route in Manhattan so many times especially at illegal speeds you would be surprised how empty the city streets are at certain hours and nights
I have done 155 on the FDR in a friends sl63 not a single car on the road till the wall st exit lol but this was long ago and I am wiser now and still have zero speed infractions in over 30 years of driving in NYS but I did get pulled over by a fleet of troopers some in a plane on 91 in Connecticut for doing 170 in my uncle’s turbo charged trans am
they lowered the ticket to 89 so they didn’t have to be there if I confess that day to a local judge which I did but I love my city

That's a bold claim. I was born in NYC, but I have also traveled around the world quite a bit and I would never say NYC is hands down the greatest city in the world. I don't know how one could seriously make such an assertion.

They are moving to Texas
Daily I see many NY, and Cali plates here. In a monthly area publication my zip code is growing at a 6.9 percent rate. Houses in my subdivision are sold in less than two weeks, for cash and most times for cash above asking prices. Met many that relocated here because they made a few million dollars on their real estate, bought bigger houses here for a half million. When I meet them at my local watering hole, I always tell them to please consider how they vote , so that they don’t turn our wonderful place in the same nightmare that they just escaped.

Nice to hear there's no crime, poverty, homelessness, etc. in Texas, please let us know how it was accomplished. I lived in Austin 1980-82 and Dallas 1983-84 and again 1991-1997. My daughter now lives in Austin and the traffic there is now on par with NYC, if not worse. Funny that you are willing to invest and brag about your $ in companies such as Apple, which last time I checked was HQ in the nightmare you call California. Telling people to consider how they vote I guess is better than actively trying to prevent them from actually voting, but I digress. Let's return to 996 pricing, I shouldn't have started this geographical civil war.

It appears I opened a can of worms 😂
I grew up in Boston. Making fun of NYC is engrained in me. It's all in good fun.
