Gained a lot of wisdome by reading all billion pages of this thread; thank you all!
I have one last question remaining as I only want to bother the dealer one time to make changes from my original config: for those that selected one of the "T Interior packages," any regrets on going with Standard or Leather (enhanced)? I have only spent time in a recent 992 S and GTS (not mine) and both had the leather/stitching on the doors/dash so I don't know what the standard looks/feels like. I'm just asking for opinions on what you have experienced. Did you get the enhanced and feel it wasn't worth it? Did you get the standard and wish you had enhanced? Did you get either and love it, etc. (I know this will be subjective in response, but you all have greatly helped narrow own a spec when I couldn't go and see/touch them anywhere close!)
Thank you!
ps - does the leather on the door tops and dash age/weather poorly in high-heat (SW FL here) areas? It will live most of it's life under cover (when not actively being driven daily), so it's really more of a "in 10 years, do these areas hold up?" question.

The polls above should help. I started the poll on the first link. I ended up ordering the standard interior with extended leather and deviated stitching and made the right choice for me. Of the two T interior packages, I feel the lizard green accents are too fluorescent for my taste and the slate gray accents don't provide significant contrast for my taste. I'm also not in love with the pinstripes on the inserts. No offense to anyone, just me and my personal taste. Others are very happy with their T interior package. My interior pictured below. It wasn't cheap and I would've been only slightly less happy with the $0 option standard interior and the standard black stitching.
As for leather quality, I live in similar weather to you and have had a Macan with full leather parked mostly in direct sunlight with no change. I have heat and UV resistant film on all glass including sunroof and windshield which I've also applied to my T and recommend you do also. My car is black/black and the heat reduction works very well. I believe these interiors will age well even in our climate provided they are well cared for.

On the T the people that go for non leather do this not because they cannot pay this but because of the T ethos and things like that. They all know what they do. So you really must love a non leather interior. If you are unsure or not 100% sure just go for the leather. Nobody ever has said he hates leather look and would rather have a plastic interior lol.

Thank you both for your insight; much appreciated!
If you get the steering column in leather with the T (full leather) package, is the stitching also slate grey (or green)?

I have a 2021 Targa 4 with wood trim inside and leather everywhere and stitching everywhere and leather steering column and leather sun shades and so on. Looks great - but this fits this models ethos as others have used the term.
But my 911 T - I wanted a road sports car and instead of leather everywhere I chose the standard interior and then checked every box for race-tex. Steering wheel/ shift boot and ****, headliner, sunshades, seat belt surround on the door column, center glove box lid and probably some I forgot. The seats are all leather on the bolsters anyway- but they have the very nice natural color woven centers in a checkerboard design. Feels great it sit on and looks more serious then a perforated . There is no leather on the dash and the top of the door frames but high quality textured vinyl which is very nice. I don’t miss all the fancy trimmings and stitching etc. in my Targa when I drive the 911 T. The cabin feels perfect for driving the car hard on a mountain road. If you only have one Porsche and you want it make it luxurious - order fancy trim and stitching the T is a coarser vehicle than my 911 T or a 911- rides harder, corners better, noise is unrefined inside the cabin and the standard interior fits the car and feels and looks really nice and purpose on the road. If you want a luxury roadster order the base 911 carrera with softer ride, less noise in the cabin and the 19”/20” wheels which ride softer than the 20/21”.
I put the savings over the leather interior into the black gloss aero kit $8,500) with the sport front and rear sport design in gloss black and rubystar neo paint, clear taillights, race-Tex on the interior mirror mount.
it does have chalk stitching here and there standard also. I also ordered the agate gray Spyder wheels. My msrp was just below $150,000. You can’t order a bad combination of options…

@Macboy Here are some more pics. I have to say it really is special to see the yellow stitching across the dash while also seeing the blue paint out in front. I really enjoy it. I think the yellow sports chrono dial helps with this a lot. I tried to get pics with the door open and shots with the yellow stitching in view with the exterior. The Blue is so vibrant, I think even in low light conditions it really looks great.

And here are a few more. I know many like the exclusive tail lights, but i really am a fan of the standard. Lastly. I was inspired by @VarTheVar in the 992 T Pic Thread of his car and dog, so I added one of mine as well. He is German after all.

personal. It is also quite expensive. The stitching contrast with deviated is so much stronger (see the blue / yellow above) than the Slate grey and the Lizard green sticks out more, but is either liked or not I don't think there is a half way house on it?

Since retiring 3.31.23 I have been helping a buddy clear invasive honeysuckle from his newly acquired 12 acres of woods.. This required training on his tractor with front loader and operating a chipper from the PTO. In addition I am using his chainsaws and spraying a 20% Roundup solution on the stumps to prevent regrowth. The honeysuckle chips are spread as a path for jogging and mountain biking around the perimeter of the property which now measures 39 acres. This is a lot like hard work complete with Liberty overalls, and helmet with ear protection and full facemask. In exchange I enjoy the company of him and his wife and the fruits of their garden and farm (eggs, corn, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, apples, berries, and beef) in addition to the use of their inground salt water pool and outdoor pickle ball court. Seems like a fair deal all around!

window haze
Rather unencouragingly, looks like this is not just related to the T or lightweight glass. More than a couple threads on the topic

I suspect the car is so air-tight that whatever off gassing or interaction of new materials with hot & humid conditions in a Texas garage result in that window haze.

No problem! Glad to help. Interestingly I find that in many photos the contrast is t quite as clear as in person. Sometimes it come through in pics.
