Interesting. For comparison, my 991.2 T scales at 3240lbs with a FULL tank of fuel (16.9 US gallons). Car is manual, standard 4-way seats, Bose stereo, and rear axle steering. Still amazes me Porsche has kept the weight relatively low all these years despite the increase in size, the need for more and more safety equipment, more complicated and heavier mechanicals and so on. For North American consumers, the lightest 911 offered by Porsche from 1990 to now was the short-lived 964RS America at 2990lbs (manual steering, no sunroof).

I took delivery of my Guards Red T today. I was angling for a GT3 Touring after selling a ‘22 Shelby GT500, but my dealer indicated that I could place a deposit and cross my fingers for a 2024 allocation and in the meantime offered me a preconfigured T specced by a customer who moved overseas. I took the T and will decide whether I place the GT3 Touring deposit after living with the T for a few weeks. After receiving the car at 6pm, I drove over 120 Kms through twisty roads with my daughter to the beach. My initial impressions:
1. Impressed by the range the T has on a full tank…well over 300kms, more than twice the GT500 range.
2. The basic seats work better than expected (my last 911 was a 997S w/X51 with sport seats that had more adjustments and were 100% covered in leather)…comfortable yet providing good grip and the design looks good too.
3. After about 30 minutes I realized how much I missed the sound of a flat six 911…it sounds good even without activating the enhanced muffler sound button.
4. It hugs corners spectacularly well. I only got up to 0.6 lateral g and am sure the car could do way more without getting flustered.
5, Acceleration at higher revs is lively but down low it feels weak
6. Suspension is comfortable and PASM is effective
7. The lift worked well and is essential here for large speed bumps
8. The base Bose system sounds ok, especially at high volumes
9. Chassis construction feels solid as a rock
10. Standard Brakes are good
11. It feels slower than it actually is…easy to get tix in this
12. PDLS headlamps are excellent

Grats on the car! But we do need pictures to enjoy it with you. As to the above points: you mean 1300km maybe? I assume you have the 90l tank. And do you have the 4-way or fully electric 18-way seats? They are the same except for some details. Bose lucky guy. Most of us didn’t get Bose. Mexico does and so do some other countries in the south maybe?
Range seems to be good for around 600kms+ since I made it here (aprox 150kms) and only used 1/4 tank. My mileage is affected bc I really do live south of the border so everyday I actually get to do what you see in all those videos “filmed in Mexico”. My former GT500 Shelby would show only 145kms range when full after registering my driving!
Here are a few pics during the first 14 hours since delivery:

Regarding weight, The 18 way seats likely weigh quite a bit more then standard 4-ways. I'd love to get more data points.
