    Hi
I read in one of your messages that you are from Ohio and you received a 991.2 GT3 allocation. That is great and congrats, you are a lucky dude....I was just wondering which dealership you were able to get the allocation from? Do you have a special inside friend at the dealer or have you bought a lot of cars from them? What color did you order, I would love to see it once it comes in this fall... I'm currently driving a 2017 911 and I have been trying to get an allocation for a GT3 but not having much luck...
    Thanks
    RLT

Larry - sorry for delay, I didn't notice the profile message. If you're driving to the track, don't buy Hoosiers. While they are DOT approved, you dont want to be using these on the street and chancing a puncture. These tires are light and don't have the same resistant to debris puncture as a normal street tire. Get rid of the EVO's though. Terrible track tire. Hard as a brick. If you street the car with your track tires, stick to either a Michellin SS or Yoko Ad008. Great compromise tire. If you have a set of dedicated track wheels, try the NT01. Better than SS or AD008 on the track, but no where near Hoosiers but last about 2x as Hoosiers on the track. We'll be selling the NT01 soon, but don't have them in stock yet nor setup on our website (www.hoosierdirect.com).
    Thanks,
    Brian

    lfish,
I am sorry to hear about your issue with that car. I was so close to buying a ticket to fly out for it but some things just didn't add up. I grilled the salesman and manager, Chris and Aaron, and they just played stupid with my questions. The DME report showed that the software was flashed again (chipped?), the average speed of the car was under 20mph (should be at least 30mph)...which sometimes implies that the mileage was rolled back (the flash?). And there were Type2 overrevs, which PCNA does not like when warrantee work is needed for the drivetrain.
I hope things work out with you and the car, it certainly was beautiful.
There's an '07 GT3 there now that they took in on trade with obvious track useage, but I'm very hesitant to deal with that dealer. Do me a favor, let me know how things work out.
    Be good,
    TomK
