Picked her up Thursday! Gave her a good bath today as the dealer bath wasn't the best. I am excited get to know all the ins and outs as this is my first 911. What is really cool is the wife is even excited about it, which wasn't the case during the waiting period.... I let her take it to her hair appointment yesterday. Figure I need to lean in and get her on board as much as possible, while also ripping off the band aid of nerves of her driving it.
Congrats! Big fan of SB and it is what my build is currently spec’ed as. What are your specs?
Thanks for the kind words. My spec are as follows:
SB Paint
Leather Interior
Deviated stitching in Racing Yellow
Roof lining in Race-Tex
Power folding mirrors
Lane Change Assist
PDLS+
Tach in RY
Adaptive Cruise Control
BOSE
Seat Belts in RY
PDK
18 way seats
Ambient lighting
Rear Seats
Sprots Chrono in RY
I have not had much time with the car yet, but so far I am 100% happy with my choices. Rear seats were a must for my daughter, and PDK is the right choice for me at this point. After using the adaptive cruise control in my wife's Audi I was so impressed I added it to my build, for those road trips... Only thing I am up in the air on is the ambient lighting. I have not driven the car at night yet so the jury is still out. but it is nothing compared to the wife's S5 Audi.

Sharkblue, yellow stitching and PDLS+ (no silver part on top)...you've just murdered @Macboy His dream config I think (minus the PDK)...not sure what he will want from yellow dials/safety belts combos, but you kinda nailed his dream. Thus, he can see in "real life" what he wants to order.
Nice car and combo. Love the blue, but it will not work over here with almost no sunlight 2/3 of the years.
Yeah, I think many of us, "early adopters" will skip "ambient lighting" for the next new car.
Thank you for insight! Are there any side by side images of what the "T" interior seat fabric looks like vs. the standard fabric? The configurator shows poorly on both vs. the actual photos.
If possible, anyone with the various standard, Base T interior or Max T interior (slate on both - the green shows up well in photos seen) can take pictures of their actual interiors and post here, would be very helpful!
(Ps - I've seen the other photo of the person who went GT silver stitching with the standard fabric seat material and that looks fantastic too!)
GT silver is be "too" bright for me. I found slate grey to be "deviated enough" for me. But, to each his own.
You asked for pictures, I put the following two together: slate gray stripes for the T interior and without them for the normal tex interior.
Standard T vs "max" (or extended) T interior= you get extra the upper and lower section of the dashboard and upper side of the doors covered in leather too. Standard only has the seats, center console and lower part of the doors covered in leather.
Standard and Extended (non T), replace the slate gray stitching with a darker one. And no slate gray stripes in the tex material.
Green is contrasting more than the slate grey. Even with the extended T package, you will not get the color on the wheel or shifter (if manual) boot. You need to option deviated stitching to have color there too.
standard (yellow stitching extra, but tex material is without pin stripes) T interior package
This is exactly what I want to know too. I'm interested in specing the "T" package without extended leather. Photo "A" is what I want it to look like, but photo "B" looks like how it appears of the configurator.
A.
B.
Are they the same but the material just looks darker in some photos? Or are they a different material?
I'm guessing the material with the "T" package is the same material as the base just with the pinstripes, but some of these photos make the contrast harsh.
Foto A is more to reality than B. Yes, they are the same interior (T). Nope, just B was filtered and changed by someone.
Standard T, no extended - no dash and upper door leather. Same pinstripes on the seats and slate grey stitching. And belts.
I'm stoked on the Slate Gray T Interior Package in leather. Had my SA add that to my build yesterday actually. I feel like the T should have the bespoke T package.

This is what mine looks like (extended T package).
I haven't seen many interior photos and was afraid the non T "checkered tex" might be too bright. Not the case actually, but I don't regret getting the T package.
Which leads me to the other impressive statistic which is the actual weight of the 992T as weighed by Autocar themselves. They weighed it at 1456kg(official 1470) which is less than the official Porsche figure which is unheard of in Autocar tests. Also bear in mind that the test car was far from being in its lightest possible configuration with its RAS, BOSE, Matrix lights, Surround view etc adding about 25-30kg, which makes the reallife weight of a 992T without these options about 1430kg or lighter than the 992GT3 they tested and weighed !

Day 2 of driving. Have not scraped at my driveway yet, though I wager it will soon. I’m crawling in and out. I don’t yet regret skipping the FAL as the front lip is cheap enough and hopefully the scratches will be discreet when they come. The actual curb height here is 5”, so maybe a 7” or so descend from the driveway height to the road.
I think the more important option is the park assist keeps you from running into the curves especially when you don’t have the front lift option which is a necessary for such a short car.
