992 Carrera T Club
@Barkat03 My old car is back and I took a photo of the battery and not sure which one it has ? For comparison sake against my new one in approx 6 weeks time..
It has the following numbers 9Y0.915.107.R - P019482 it says made in the Czech Republic. These numbers are very similar to yours, I will post a pic later but nowhere that I can see does it have the Word Porsche or what looks like a Porsche part number as on the other battery shown.
Best Devon Racer.

@HerrDr Great looking pictures sadly I don't think my car will entering production now until the 20th October, but thanks for looking out for it, That ST looks stunning in Gentian blue. Have a ball and savour each moment such a special experience very envious. I collected my first 911 in 1970 from the factory was a brilliant experience.
Sadly in the UK I don't think factory collections are possible now.

@Devon Racer I have FAL and I wonder if that requires a full size battery??

@Scott P I think you’re right.
Having a full size has its advantages in my case - I sometimes go abroad for couple months at a time so no need for trickle charge etc👍

@HerrDr I’m so jealous. My 2 loves in life….cars and real estate. When u get your T, post me at least 1 pic of ur T with cool Porsha building backdrop!
@Barkat03 LG doesn’t make heavy batteries. The other clearly states AGM. They just signed a big deal with Toyota to supply their EV batteries in the US. They just built their US HQ building in my town and even their building looks lightweight.
Lightweight Battery Question:
I decided to try and find out if my car has a lightweight battery or not. I don’t have RAS or PDK so always assumed it was the lightweight one.
Now not so sure. Here are two pics, first one is from a guy on a different forum who thinks his is lightweight and the second one is my own car.
Thoughts?

yeah, my 992 GT3 had the base lights and they came off alot darker than on the config. i feel the chrome ring would defeat the purpose of have the rest of the lamp be black....id prefer all black....at least with the base lights the bright cluster around the projector just makes it look like its a single element.

They would, I am sure, I just think it is hilarious having both Techart and GT3 caps when my car is clearly not a gt3 and doesn't have any Techart things on it. Also they were just sitting in our barn and not being used so it was a win-win for my pops and I

Amazing so how did you end up getting a corral ticket? I was lucky enough to find a person a few days before I left who sold it to me, were you able to get one from the original sale online? ! I saw yours rental but I am not sure if I took any photos of it, Ill check if I have any photos, and you are right it certainly seemed to get a little attention, I see I made an error in my post as well I hope to see everyone in 5 years.

Scott P and ECNJ are right. If yours is the second pic, you have the lightweight, LiFePO4 battery. The first pic is clearly the AGM battery (absorbed glass mat) heavier battery. My battery is LiFePO4 also but a different part number and slightly different labeling. Also mine was made it Czech Repub vs yours came from S Korea.

Lightweight battery question...ANSWERED!!
Man the knowledge on this forum is just mindblowing. Is there a single question about 992's that has not been dealt with??
I can honestly say that there is nothing like this level of knowledge on any of the other (4) 911/Porsche forums I follow.
It's obv related to the fact that we've all bought the driving enthusiasts option, the T, when let's face it every one of us could easily have afforded an S etc.
Gracias amigos
