Yeah the plan is somewhat fluid but we do have some marks to hit. Have a tour scheduled at Mesa Verde National Park near Durango on Saturday morning and then we've got an 8 hour drive to get to Alpine, Arizona for Saturday night. Then we wake up Sunday and it's 7 hours to get home, and we absolutely have to be home Sunday.
I'm totally down for another trip though! Would be cool to meet up and do some of the roads together.
definitely! Maybe one of these days I will get out to Arizona and drive the fun road there, it’s only 2-3 hours from me! Easy to get to in the morning on the weekend
Ah that sucks toph. I was told the same when I took my car for service last month, that they did the test and it "passed" and that they had not seen any failures that needed replacing. So far I've had no glass issues but sounds like it's bound to happen eventually.
Porsche fixed it immediately and covered it under warranty! I called on Tuesday and they ordered the glass, window arrived Thursday morning, and I was back on the road with a new window Thursday afternoon!!
That's fantastic to hear. I was worried since the recall letter said they were still waiting for a remedy to be available and the service manager at Burlington confirmed that was the case as well when I asked last month.

Good for you, it took 5 weeks for my first glass replacement and two weeks for the second one. They're finally getting up to speed with complaints to fixes ratio being shorter apparently.

If I'm not mistaken, the recall letter and the glass shattering are mutually exclusive. The recall letter I thought dealt with improper sealing of the glass by the factory. Correct me if I'm wrong.
