Count me in, going to queue up for a 992 base Carrera aiming for euro delivery late Spring 2020
Keeping my 991.1 50th but excited to try out the new gen. The futuristic looks are growing on me ala blade runner style, just wish I could option the sport design rear bumper only (prefer regular front and side skirts)... also wondering what the bumperette situation is. Hate what I saw at the LA auto show, hoping for a workaround ala bumper plugs or color match or something

Latest update from my SA for 992 S...
On ship now.. Siem Cicero looks to be at Houston port well before
September 7 pick up day..
I ordered late June and was able to get in on first batch to Porsche North Houston.
Fingers crossed.

Well played. Ordered late April from Porsche San Antonio, and mine is on Goodwood, en route to Davisville, RI now. At dealer mid September.

Yahoo! I’m on Siem Cicero as well, unloading in Jacksonville after the Davisville stop. Should be at my dealership 9/6 or 9/7 as it’s a fairly short trip from JAX. Still haven’t heard what sort of release event the dealer has planned.

Siem Cicero has departed Davisville RI.. Jacksonville Fl 8/26.. probably in Houston 8/29..
Anybody else get any more solid info from their SA/Dealer about launch still being Sept 6/7 and when you can pick it up?
I plan to contact my SA next Tuesday.. and hopefully hear good news

Mine gets off in Jacksonville and dealer says I should plan on picking it up on the 6th...apparently they have 4 deliveries that day. Not counting on it yet (hard to fully trust dealer info), but good to see the boat back on the water heading for JX.

Another newbie, been lurking for quite a while, months actually.
Well this morning I put down a deposit on 4S Coupe, so officially on the waiting list. I have had a 996 and a 997 before, after over an hour test drive I have to be honest to say how much better the 992 drives.
Dealer said if I can make up my mind quickly on the spec, they will be able to swap with a demo car they have coming in which is a build date October and delivery November. I was expecting next year. Only downside is that the build will be locked down on 2nd September. So not much time for the final decision. To be honest, I have been playing the configurator for months now, so pretty sure what I want.
However went in wanting an Agate Grey car and came out with a Carrera White. Just shows you need to see the cars. Didn't like Crayon and whilst I liked the Aventurine Green the other half didn't.
