Thanks for posting...do you have another angle on the rear? Trying to get a better view of the rear license plate opening and the filler panel in there.

I have those exact wheels arriving on my Miami Blue S..can't wait looks like that dealer car has some sport design/fascia changes.. usually the rear end is plain black that appears to have painted trim.

Easy to confuse against the green, but I see black behind the winglet.

Unfortunately I do not. That pic was sent to a friend that works at the dealer. I’ll ask him to send me some more if he can.

Got it...thank you. I'm sure we'll be seeing many pics of the America's SD rear soon...just getting anxious before seeing mine.

So... is my U.S. car going to have the rear plate mount this high?? If so, that's disappointing. I assumed it would be located lower between the exhaust as I've seen in other photos.

Only if you got the sport design package. Otherwise it will mount lower between the exhaust pipes.

Hi everyone. I was offered a base 992 build slot by OPC Solihull (UK) and paid my £5,000 deposit on 8th July. My lockdown date on the spec was 16th August, my car goes into build on 27th September and is expected at the dealership about 10 days later.

My spec is as follows:
3H Crayon £1,919.00
KD Slate Grey leather interior (Crayon stitching) £0.00
3FE Electric slide/tilt glass sunroof £1,592.00
4KF Privacy glass £387.00
2RA Model designation 911 £0.00
6XV Electric folding exterior mirrors including courtesy lighting £240.00
G1F 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) £0.00
0P8 Sports exhaust system £1,844.00
1N3 Power steering Plus £185.00
46H 19-inch/20-inch Carrera Wheels £0.00
1NP Wheel centres with full-colour Porsche Crest £114.00
P14 Automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors with integrated rain sensor £387.00
KA6 Park Assist (front and rear) including Surround View £1,196.00
Q5A Sports seats (4-way, electric) £0.00
QE1 Storage package £0.00
FI8 Crayon seat belts £312.00
2ZC Heated steering wheel £189.00

I chose the base model because my 992 will be a daily driver and I don't need the ultimate in performance, plus there was a self-imposed budget to consider.

Nevertheless, I couldn't resist some toys/extravagances:
 • Whenever I have seen Crayon in the flesh, I have been gobsmacked by it: I switched from white to Crayon at the last minute.
 • I like a light interior: having opted for the slate interior to go with the light exterior, I thought the sunroof would brighten things up.
 • I love the sports exhaust on our other cars (Boxster and Macan) and, well, I was weak.
 • I stuck with the standard wheels because the black ones look a bit too "gangsta" for my taste and, in particular, I like the bigger sidewalls for noise/comfort reasons.
 • I suffer from OCD and, when I park between two white lines, I like to be exactly in the middle of those white lines, hence surround view. It's an expensive ailment.
The Porsche Code is PLKEI2G9 (that's I for India for letter 5).

Can't wait!

Here’s another angle. Doesn’t get closer to the plate though. It’s Aventurine.

Are Canadian 992 cars the same as US cars regarding emissions? Do they also not have the particulate filter? What was the delay in Canada of the release if it wasn’t tied to the EPA certification?

They will be the same, and we are tied to the US. Canada harmonized their emissions standards to align with the US a while back and we rely on the US EPA certification for cars that are sold concurrently in the US and Canada. We will not have the particulate filter either.

That helps...looks not so bad...I think better than the bumperettes we’ve seen on the std bumper. Thanks

Aventurine green is such a great color for this car.
