SA texted Wednesday August 28 that the “Goodwood” was off the coast of Houston. Today, tracking shows the eagle has indeed landed! Ahead of schedule at that. SA says it’s the only GT Silver 992 onboard.

Hi BernieR,

I had an issue with my email when I got it. I reached out to Porsche Customer Service and they had it fixed. You should do the same.

He didn't say. My V900 date is September 20, but right now, I'm about 10 days ahead of schedule. Porsche San Antonio, ordered late April.

PNH told me a few days ago should be available late next week.. I have a hard time believing that, though.. there are many cars still sitting at Houston port not released to dealers..

Just wondering what administrative hold means and how long it will last.

Administrative hold in your case means that the car hasn’t been CARB certified. All 992’s in port are on administrative hold until the appropriate CARB or EPA cert is done. Lots of earlier posts related to question of when they will be certified and released....the $$$$ question at the moment.

Default Porsche Cited By EPA

The VW Group has been cited again - this time for gasoline engines from 2013-2017. It includes most Porsche Cayenne models. See link below.

https://federalnewsnetwork.com/gover...8000-vehicles/

The following link is to the EPA press release from 8/30/2019.

https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/epa...-labels-number

Hope this does not further delay approval of 992. As of today, no approval is indicated on EPA or CARB approved lists.

Thanks for sharing this. My Audi isn’t on the list, but you have to believe that all VW Group vehicles are getting additional scrutiny and this won’t help.

This is really scary....could be a prolonged period for final cert on the 992. More sleepless nights

My SA contacted me today to say that my car goes into production thus week for delivery at the end of the month.

i asked if I could get access to the portal to view the car as it progressed through the build. He tells me “we don’t have that facility in Europe”. Can that be right? Am I missing something? Am I not asking for the correct thing?

I was told by my SA that the portal was very unrefined.. more like Beta software.. and that's why I never even was able to log on from Porsche
