Just received my allocation today for a Targa GTS. I put my name on the list in July 2021 and apparently I was second on the list. (High volume dealer in IL) Expected delivery July 2022.
I am next in line for an allocation from a dealer in northern Illinois for Targa4S. Ordered July and was 4th in line. Have signed contract for MSRP.
Christmas came earlier! Picked up my 992 in aventurine green half an hour ago! Photos & videos will follow this evening.
A beautiful color choice, aventurine green metallic for your 992 Carrera. First came across aventurine green on a '96 Carrera (993) in sunny southern California. The color is way, way sharp on a Carrera. Its a wildly schizophrenic light dependant metallic color. Yeah, man!

The 993 AG and current AG aren't the same color, unfortunately.
We did switch to AG/Truffle from Gentian at the last minute. We can do a comparison around May(ish).
I did the same with delivery in early June. Our cars will probably be shipped together. Both GB and AG are great colors especially with the truffle brown leather.
Brand new to this site and Just ordered yesterday a 22 Targa 4 GTS 7 Speed manual in Lava to replace my 2017 almost identical build. I am so disappointed in the 3 wheel options as none of them POP on a car like this. I knew the recent Turbo wheels were a disappointment but didn't expect so little choice. I have on my 2017 Targa GTS the RS Spyder center locks and while I hate cleaning them, they look aggressive. I cant decide whether I order the Turbo centerlocks and then just sell and replace since centerlock is iconic to GTS but I cant find a wheel I love in Gloss Black. thoughts and I know, not lifes biggest problems especially now. My 911 992 was on the Cygnus Leader. It was supposed to have docked in San Diego port around Jan. 6th.
Destination is Circle Porsche.

I may be stating the obvious here, but you know that the configurator allows you to change the finish of most/all wheels to several types of black finish including satin, right?
Edit: apparently not possible for your model. was able to do it for my C2S
