I meant No; dealer has not shown my spec'd order in their inventory.

If you want to see the America's non-sport design bumper, there's a video on MotorTrend.com showing a yellow 992 being dyno tested. You'll see it has a narrower and higher kick up in the plate frame trim area (versus the Euro version) to accommodate the different shaped plate, and a couple of very small bumper-like inserts on the top corners of the frame. Otherwise the same.

I actually like the back of the US spec cars better than the European spec cars

Non-sport design rear bumper looks much better (cleaner) than the sport design.

So non-SD package/regular rear bumper for US has these ugly *** bumperettes? And SD package has just the slight color matched bumps on each side of the plate?

It's a bit picky but I might order SD pack simply to delete the ugly black plastic...

Ugh, I hate that. I wonder if it can be removed? Because I'm looking at Aussie spec cars and they don't seem to have the bumperette despite that same cutout shape.

The USA spec regular rear bumper area with the dual exhaust tips of the standard S will look great I think. The silver in the exhaust tips match the PORSCHE rear logo, as well as the standard wheels. I deleted the model badging to accentuate these silver detail details. I like the bumperettes; and ode to the Carrera SC era cars.

I’ll take the small US spec ‘bumperettes’ as opposed to this giant bumperette which has been moved upward in an odd position, even if it is matched to paint.

I may be wrong, but I don’t believe the SD plate opening for the US appears any different than the Euro version...though definitely something body color added inside the opening.

I agree, me too. I just wish it wasn't there at all since I don't see a reason for it to be there.

Default My 992 Carrera S

Porsche Code: PL9SCF65 - Ordered August 14th 2019 - Estimated Delivery to PEC Atlanta on Nov 10th.

Built myself a countdown clock to display the progress of the order. Was able to integrate it to the Porsche Track Your Dream website so it automatically updates.
Can't wait for the car. Already sold my 991 C2 and I'm missing having a 911 in my life.

Congrats! Gorgeous build, but I may be a bit biased http://www.porsche-code.com/PLKZP593

Only potential regret for me is the 4-way vs 18-way.
