so what was the stated manufacturing process has now started date on your TYD website? Example mine says 7/4. See the attached picture. That’s what mine looks like right now.

Yes, the issue does seem to be related to shipping. That's why I mentioned the idea of not focusing too much on the expected shipping time. It's disheartening to see many people here in this thread, including myself, feeling disappointed when their cars aren't delivered as originally anticipated (according to TYD). I understand that circumstances can be challenging, and I simply wish that people, including myself, didn't have to experience this disappointment.

BTW! mine is pushed back to 07/14 as well as others here!

I totally agree with you. It’s a little disheartening for sure. But this is kind of like a small support group for each other. Lol. Imagine the guys who ship sank a couple years ago? Now that’s disheartening. Either way the worst delay is shipping for sure.

It's remarkable to think that it has already been several years since that incident occurred. Time seems to pass by quickly. However, when it comes to waiting for a Porsche, the time feels like an eternity, as if each person's perception of time flows at a different pace, much like Einstein's theory of relativity.

I'm ok with delays. What's driving me nuts is that there are cars that get to port after my car got to port getting on boats going where I'm going. Meanwhile, my car is still at port. How does this make any sense? Someone somewhere can answer this question and I'd love to hear it, but I'm so confused, logistically, right now.

I imagine that 911s make up less than 2% of all vehicles on any given ship. Rest are Audis, WVs, and Porsche SUVs.

Im done ranting about this…
10,000 US 911's sold per year means they ship over 800 911's per month to 8 North American ports that should average out to about 50 cars per port per ship (assuming 2 ships arrive at each NA port every month). I suppose it is entirely possible that our cars will all leave Emden on July 14th

That’s one boat I’m glad my car missed. My last cayman s was sitting at Emden waiting for a ride to Davisville and missed that one.

I appreciate your good vibes and positive thinking. However, since there is no boat leaving Emden for Baltimore on the 14th, I’m done getting my hopes up.

TYD had my Boston bound GTS on the Conductor, leaving 6/21 and it doesn't even stop in RI...

These TYD dates are really not worth looking at. Porsche may build the cars but VW runs the logistics.

Question. I’ve asked a couple of different dealers including my own, and they flat out told me other than two weeks to a month delay catching a ship everybody’s ordered cars have been showing up pretty much on time on the exact boats they say without any issues. Generally you only hear from the people who are having problems. I wonder how many folks on this forum have ordered cars who’s TYD has been completely and totally accurate through the whole process and they got their car out of the port in a relatively short period of time so they do not post here?

My 2024 S Cab started Manufacturing 6/26. Due to be completed 6/30 No pictures yet.... I never got any pictures of my 2021 CS so I really want these. Will they show up on the page next to commission and VIN number? I thought there was another way to find them but I could not find it in my search.
