Finally locked the build today.
Was initially told delivery mid October but today told mid November, a little disappointed but i have waited a while to get a 911 so another few weeks wont hurt.
A lot of you-tube, autogestpot and viewing physical cars over the last couple of months (ordered May).

First Impressions:
Handling and acceleration brilliant, definite improvement over a 991 GTS. Engine sounds pretty engaging, especially in sport mode. Interior is a major improvement, except for the shiny black plastic around the shifter, which looks like it will scratch easily. The shifter itself is a bit too small, but not hard to get used to. The car is striking from the outside, despite the well advertised fulsome rear end. No regrets.

October can't arrive soon enough! Getting different style stripes but you get the idea.

My car arrived at my North Carolina dealership Tuesday a.m. and was PDI'ed yesterday. I was on schedule to pick the car up tomorrow when the paint correction and ceramic coat were completed. This evening I got a call from my SA stating that the regional Porsche rep informed the dealership that no 992's were to be released to customers until the 9/18 official release date.
Has anyone else encountered this? Seems to me that there are a number of photos posted of cars that look to be in the possession of their owners. Have I missed something? Needless to say after all the drama of the wait on the EPA, Hurricane Dorian and getting it here, that I'm disappointed and a bit confused by the way Porsche has handled the whole process.

Use Internet explorer only. You also need to download unity player version 4.07f I think.google is your friend. It won't work with the latest versions.
