What a great deal. Congrats! May I ask where you ordered it and your SA's name. I'm thinking of ordering a 2021 992 S and I have been looking for hours every day. I'm ready to pull the trigger. Thanks! Hal hal26@gvtc.com

what is your allocation month? Ask for a printout of your tracking information. That will have all your dates.

Me too, locked yesterday, production scheduled 7/24, production start date is 9/4, dealer delivery in late October. I just missed a late July build!!!! That is okay, it will be even sweeter when it arrives in October.

Looking for advice on when to order. I want a Mid-December to January delivery with PEC Atlanta. My birthday is 12/28 and I wanted to enjoy some of the top down weather. I live in Sarasota, FL, right near Suncoast.

Any recommendations on when I should order by for a loaded C2S Cab?

I think your best bet is ask your dealer and see when they have an allocation that is closest to the dates that you want. Good luck!

Thank You! Planning to start talking to dealers within the next month. Can’t wait to join this thread with a build slot!

Do not wait too long. Dealers receive their allocations 3 times per year from Porsche. So, the specific allocation you need is probably already in the dealer's hands or they will need to reserve/obtain one for you, and not many allocations are available right now due to solid demand and Covid shut down, etc. From my allocation/order/anticipated delivery by Porsche, the process takes about 4 months start to finish (numerous factors affect this - your location, August break, timing of order lock, etc.).

Good luck and I cannot wait to see your final build.

I wouldn’t wait at all. According to my SA and others reported here, allocations are down for this year.

Just spoke to Porsche NA and my car ('21 C2S) is in production scheduled to be complete 7/17, on a ship 8/7, arrive U.S. 8/21, and arrive at the dealer 9/11. Assuming extra time at Port is due to the model year change over. Inching closer to the finish line!

Yep same dates and probably same ship. What port is it landing in the US?
